In their beginning, Amazon would intentionally order out-of-print books along with the one book they wanted, in order to get free shipping on their orders from publishers. So, doing something to intentionally take advantage of USPS isn't out of the question, IMHO.
Of course the polls for the election were off. After the left took every opportunity to call anyone not supporting Hillary a racist Nazi misogynist homophobe, lots of them basically went dark. People were openly attacking conservatives (verbally and physicalls). The polls where skewed NOT BY THE POLLSTERS, but by the unwillingness of those polled to say anything. Those people spoke at the only poll that mattered - the ballot box.
Hillary was so sure of her win, she really didn't see that all the negative attacks, social media trolling (Correct the Record), and other things had not only disenfranchised people, but also rendered them silent until it counted.
One of the most amazing things I've seen in a while, and shows just how "divisive" we have become, not due to Russians, but our own self-inflicted hyper-intersectional social justice warriorship.
I personally don't think any "Russian Interference" was statistically significant, any more than they've been doing this for years. I think Clinton's using the DNC to rig the primaries, getting debate questions beforehand, Correct The Record, literally attacking people attending Republican/Trump rallies, hollow "misogynist" cries despite willingness to happily bend over for Bill Clinton (even still!) is all things we should really be taking serious because that's voter suppression/intimidation that's taking place totally within the jurisdiction of the FBI.
So now the Federal Government has the magic keys to encryption. Why would anyone from a foreign country buy your product, especially anyone with any government or corporate level, given that they know the US can easily decrypt anything? In fact, you might find your devices prohibited in many countries.
You know, Russia has some law enforcement needs, too. Does Russia get a magic key, too? Meaning now your devices are able to be decrypted by the US and Russian governments? Now why would any US corporate or government interest want an Android?
Yes, it may be technically possible, but it's totally not feasible.
There are scammers that will create fake "hits" with a referral to their web site in analytics. So, some of this fake tracking is already being done - as a odd method of advertising!
They've had problems with that, too. Some power relays have exploded taking out thousands of dollars of equipment on 1 or more occasions. However, since it's not nearly so 'consumer' facing, it doesn't make the big news.
No, they were actually getting critical requirements late in the game, too. Some as late as March 2013 and a little even in Sept 2013. Not excusing the contractor, and especially the head honcho's in charge stating (despite every indication otherwise) that everything would be peachy on Oct 1st. This should be a textbook example of just how badly a project can be screwed up at every level of development, implementation, and rollout that should be studied in software engineering classes for decades to come.
Since this was a signature piece of litigation for Obama, you KNOW he had to be highly interested in it's success, it's nearly impossible to believe that he didn't know there were substantial problems beforehand. If you believe him that he found out about the problems on the news, and you know he had to be highly engaged with CMS and HHS in wanting progress reports, some people severely lied to him to keep in the dark. No matter how you slice it, this was a major cover-up somewhere on the slim hopes that everything would end up okay in the end.
No, that's not what he said. There are far too many examples of him stating in clear terms that if you like your health PLAN or health COVERAGE, you can keep it. Period. He never said it as if you liked just your health insurance company, you get to keep it.
Heard Rep. Tommy Williams on talk radio today, and he didn't seem satisfied with his security briefing since it didn't seem to answer three questions: What's the mission, what's the exit strategy, and what's it going to cost?
While exit strategy and cost are valid questions, before we do ANYTHING, we need to have a clear, achievable, defined mission before we put our sons and daughters at risk. And if Obama is waffling on who's drawing the 'red line', especially in the absence of any other country giving a crap about that 'red line', you need to tell me what this 'Mission' is about before we go jumping in all by ourselves here.
Never stream any movies or music ever again. Stop using YouTube, Spotify, Grooveshark, Pandora, MySpace, Last.fm, Hulu, Netflix, Vimeo, Vevo and a myriad of other streaming services since even 1 piece of content could cause you to unintentionally commit a felony.
If I'm not seeing the artist/performance live, or they aren't paying me to watch it, then it is only prudent I insure that I don't consume any of it.
Also, if for some reason my 'viral video' of some event makes it on TV without my consent, then I want the CBS/ABC/FOX/WB/NBC producers and executives prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for unauthorized streaming of my content.
The U.of U seems to be okay with it as long as it's creating paying jobs. He's not concerned with the issues, just as long as they get money. We're forging our own chains of slavery to the government.
Actually, if he is in Lebanon, suggest that you want complete assurances that he won't DDoS you again. So tell him you know people in the local Mafia, and willing to put out a $1600 contract on his life. I'm sure you could find someone in that country willing to take that deal. How does he know if you're serious or not.

Come on. Elvis was only 42 when he died on a toilet seat, and he still had black hair.
Like the "Correct The Record" trolls spouting propaganda? That probably involved more money than what the Russians spent.

Isn't part of the Patent Application being that you outline exactly why your invention is novel enough from previous systems?

Agent Smith? Is that you?

Yeah, many other countries don't have a 4th Amendment and other Constitutional protections and restrictions on government.

Be careful. A zealous employer could ruin your life for you just having an idea while in their employ.
