    1) Triple the tuition for traditional students (i.e. nerdy males).
    2) Give full scholarships to nontraditional students (i.e. attractive females).
    3) Allow nontraditional students to earn extra credit by pretending to be interested in traditional students.

    All the good stuff comes in cans, well except for dinners. They come in a little tray you can stick in the microwave.

    You bring up an interesting point.
    It seems like someone ought to be able to use a water turbine to generate electricity which would be used to pump the water back up behind the turbine. It could all be done in a big factory or power station without impacting the environment.
    It would be a really green source of energy.

    Why don't they just funnel the emitted light back to the solar panels and thus make them independent of an external light source?
    This would be great for space colonies and sea-floor dwellings.

    The real issue is that the meat industry in the U.S. alone produces 15% of the WORLD'S green house gases, which is much more than the entire world's transportation.

    Your problem with this issue is easily solved: Just stop caring about greenhouse gases and go out for a nice steak.
    Problem solved.

    What's good for animals is being domesticated by people.
    One of the primary reasons people domesticate animals is for food.
    Being eaten by people is good for animals.

    Good to know.
    These look like dead-pixel rejects, but the first LCD monitor I bought was back in the dead-pixel-expected days, and it (and it's two factory dead pixels) is still in use.

    So if saving $500 is worth a few dead pixels, then you've got a bargain.
