SuperMicro makes a bunch of boards just like this, lots of minor variations. Not sure of the exact model numbers, but a friend just got one this week with 2 isa slots, 3 pci slots, 2 64bit pci slots, agp and dual PIII sockets.
Ah, wasn't even close to thinking about it that way. Good sig and I totally agree with your point. I am a web developer myself, and I exclusively use CSS for styling but always relative values to allow users to override as they should be able to. Actually, wherever I can, I stick to standard tags (not using ID's for applying styles) so that users can fully override style settings properly as they should be able to.
Actually, it's quite simple really. As long as the test follows proper ADA guidelines, for example has good alt descriptions for the images, well then the user can just read the alt tags (in plain text, braille display, screen reader etc...) If the alt tags don't provide enough info for these users to perform these tests, than the site using them obviously isn't ADA compliant. Of course, this does pretty much render the test useless but that is likely the reality of it.
Geekdom, for some of us, is just a means to an end. Being a geek helps me do my _job_ immensely, but I certainly don't live to be a geek. Rather, I work as a geet to live.
The end in my case is more often than not to get out into nature, totally sans geek.
Geekdom doesn't have to be your _whole_ life, actually you'll deffinately get laid more if you put down the geek when you leave the office.
A root kit doesn't need to be installed on your machine to get nailed by those windows messaging popups, they're directed at your machine over TCP to the windows messaging port, which is open by default. These are annoying, but they are not a serious security threat even if you don't know how to stop them. If you're running XP, turn the personal firewall on and those disappear immediately.
The total cost of the ISS project is already closing in on $100 billion dollars and is backed by 16 countries just to foot the bill.
Billy G's ~$20 billion wouldn't last him too long if he were to invest it in a space startup. Don't think we'd complain if he wasted his money there, but he's not exactly stupid when it comes to money.
And just what does that mean? Not trying to be a spelling nazi, but oh my god. That's not even close to a word, and it was submitted as such and then posted as such without being fixed? Ever heard of a fricking spell checker?
Good point about "The Sum of All Fears", I hadn't noticed. Likely because that whole movie sucked dog so bad that by that point I was just wishing it was over. What's up with Ben and Morgan anyways lately, first changing lanes and then that crap? 2 great actors, 2 pathetic excuses for movies in a row...go figure!
Absolutely. And nobody EVER abused tapes right? I think that's what pisses me off the most, our expectations haven't changed a bit in decades, unless we're totally sick of having to replace our music libraries with the latest technology they're stuffing down our throats for the umpteenth time. At least in the past we got a noticeable and desired improvement over old formats, this time though they're giving us NOTHING in return for a reduction in our traditional usage patterns.
BTW, how many copies of your all time favourite album do you own? I own at least 6 copies of 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'. I'm not buying anymore, ever. Why would I, I've got it in ogg now!
Yeah, but expecting it to play in my _cd_ player is, and that's the point. Theft is still theft just as it always was, that's not the point and this is still no excuse.
BTW: Fat chance ever seeing copy-protection on a Tory Amos album. It's her own label and distribution system, NOT one of the big boys, and I think that most fans of musicians such as Tory, would feel like a turd for NOT paying for a copy of her latest album.
I don't know ANYONE who wants to screw the artists we love, this is ENTIRELY about the big businesses in between.
Well, in that case a hammer becomes a fairly complex thing itself...If you have to make your own that is.

Thanks for the clarification!
The post wasn't trying to belittle todays programmers, it was trying to counter the belittlement of yesterdays machines and programmers.
Took that a little personally didn't you? Hmm, I wonder what that could ever mean?
Sorry but this article obviously wasn't posted to insight yet another standards debate.
Everyone knows c ehh? ;-)
Wow, I sure wish I knew the same everyone that you do
You're sig is a joke right?
Trying to figure out what the point is though...

Modded troll? What is with geeks so often lacking a sense of humor, thinking too much maybe?
That was (come on, spell it out with me) F...U...N...N...Y!
Sorry I have no points to mod that funny as it rightly should be.
He must be referring to the 'rock and chisel' mentioned in a post above.
Either that, or one hell of a lot of paper and binders!

Ignorance sure is blissful isn't it?
I can accept that, just PLEASE tell me you're not a web developer, actually, any kind of developer?

No shit, it's not even a free reg, which is bad enough.
I bought one of those fancy computers about 15 years ago. They really aren't very good, though. ;-)

Accentuated is the word.
Shit, yer right.
Must have been even worse than I thought!

What, you mean MS paint with frame support? ;-)
No, you can't call what XP has video editing software by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh great mind reader...
What point did he want to make then?
Absolutely.
And nobody EVER abused tapes right?

You're comparing outright theft to the disruption of fair use, not even close!
Don't.
I made that mistake (thought it was blue, didn't read the label right at the shack), and they don't work at all.
Nil, nada, zilcho.
