Understood but apples to apples is hard between us. $15 for someone to take an hour combined for time to shop and bring me food seems fair. My time is worth money too, and I like having an afternoon freed up for such a small amount of cash.

Giant Eagle already does this in the Pittsburgh area. If I recall, it's about $15 for them to pick out everything you wanted and deliver it. Came in handy after the last surgery where I wasn't able to get around for a bit.

I like my Xbox 360. It works and doesn't require internet. The Xbox One, meh... I use it to play movies or YouTube. It's basically just a DVD and blu-ray player.

  8. I've been an open source zealot for 20+ years. You're damn straight, I ain't fall for that shit.

  9. Not interested. I'll stick to playing retro games that don't have $300 worth of DLC to buy to be usable, or require an internet connection to function.

Nah, there's no way this is going to be controversial. ;)

It's only politically incorrect to say positive things about the patriarchy, not the neanderarchy. There's no possible way this could devolve into bickering. (Where's the sarcasm tag?)

I have glaucoma. My vision in my right eye has suffered. It's harder to read for me now. These are facts. Now to my idea you inspired: my reading comprehension has seemed to improve as I have to spend more effort in focusing my eyes to read. I think it's a function of how much time I spend reading sentences. I was rushing when I should have spent time contemplating each sentence. Now I'm forced to, in a sense. Could it be simply as easy as re-reading every sentence to gain the same benefits this font claims it has? Basically, just slow the fuck down?

I know you're trolling, but I think you missed an opportunity. You left out sharks. You can't have "FREAKEN LASERS" [sic] without sharks. You're the type who'd be okay with using something stupid, like mutant sea bass, to try and make a point.

  16. They agree that standard police procedures can increase the likelihood of being killed by the police. Good.

They think that having an opt-in service for having people voluntarily put on a target on their back (because they have another target on their back) will make the situation better. Bad.

Where did we lose the policemen between the 1st and 2nd part? Why don't they simply treat everyone as at risk of swatting?

On a serious note, why is it taking so long to get proper? Is it just a matter of critical mass, or is the architecture not useful enough? I honestly wanna know. It seems like a fun nostalgia project, but beyond that, I don't see the utility.
