While privacy is an issue here, but lets have a look at the good side of this. If someone steals your car, you'll be able to track where they've taken it. Yes yes they could swap out the tires and such but still.. I'd feel a little more secure if there was some way to track my car in the event it got stolen. Not that I'd use Michelin tires:D
Does MS sell software at a loss in order to wipe out rivals?
Microsoft isn't the only company to do this. For example, Walmart does this also. They sell pretty much everything at below discount prices, so they take a hit for the first few years or whatever, then when the surrounding businesses have to close cuz nobody goes there since Walmart is cheaper. Then afterwards they can raise the prices so they make a profit.

Am I ethical if I jump into the moving car and turn it off ? Sure, if that's the ONLY thing you do. But what happens if you cause damage to the car? Or some items in the car are missing when the owner gets it back?
The main issue is that many people could use this "anti-virus virus" as an excuse to (legally? sorry.. didn't read the above posts on legality etc:P) mess with people's machines. They could unintentionally or intentionally cause damage.
I don't know what the limit for number of players playing on a GC is but it'd be great if they had more support for more players playing from the same console.. or even making it so people could hook up consoles.
Yeah, Nintendo really started going downhill when they started making all those Pokemon games. It's cool that they targetted the kiddies (big market there) for their market but they really went overboard and lost many of the older gamers.
