Correct. Those laws can generally be summed up by "Though shall not kill." But even though only one set of laws was broken, I'm sure you agree that killing one child is not as bad as killing many children, yes? Then, why make it easy to kill a room full of children, as opposed to one?
Based on historical evidence, the easiest way of doing this is with TNT smuggled into a school building over a 6 month time span.
What's really funny is watching how they react when you ask them if they also think the 1st Amendment only applies to documents written on parchment with quill pens, or if the 4th only applies to horse-drawn carriages.
Me: If the 2nd amendment only applies to muskets, then why doesn't the 1st amendment only apply to newspapers and books? Liberal: Because the 1st amendment was re-interpreted to include new forms of speech and of the press. The constitution is a "living document" and therefore should be allowed to change due to technological advancement. Me: Exactly. Thank you for proving my point. Liberal:::soft sobbing and tears ensue::
Pause Call of Duty, put down the X-Box controller, and try a dose of real life. Bunny-hoping is not a legitimate movement tactic while under fire, and it is hard to throw a grenade 50 feet.
And FYI, with the proper ammunition a shotgun is accurate to 100 yards. That's what many deer and boar hunters use. So should your pump action shotgun be banned because it can be dangerous from 0-100 yards? You want to ban the AR-15 for meeting such criteria as well.
So if we want to stop Obama's diktats, all we have to do is prevent IT companies from bidding on the contract? If Rahm Emanuel can sit around and tell banks to stop doing business with gun manufacturers, then why can't everyone else tell IT companies not to do business with the Federal Government in regards to firearms?
My old company used first initial, middle initial, and the first 5 letters of your last name. Collisions were handled with numbers, so there were some usernames that were tdharry19@company.tld. It's the same idea as passwords, maximize your entropy to avoid collisions.
A lot of places these days have added something, usernames and e-mail addresses not being identical. Makes it a tiny bit harder to get usernames for your network. So your username is tdharry19, but your e-mail address is Tom.Dick.Harry@company.tld .
I estimate that the word "racist" will be used about 149 times throughout the comments to this post. "socialist" will be used 204 times. Any reference to the United States liberating another country will occur 9 times. Any reference to above country not wanting to be liberated will occur 9 times. And at least 28 Ron Paul supporters will show up to support US isolationism.
A better question would be name one Hollywood male lead actor who is not a Scientologist.
Season 2 of 24 actually had a Imam portrayed as a good guy in the show. Jack Bauer located a terrorist hiding in a Mosque. The Imam refused to let him in without a warrant, so Bauer got one. When the terrorist was captured and refused to talk to Bauer, the Imam attempted to preach about the peaceful religion of Islam. Of course, the terrorist ignored it and used his own bastardized form of Islam.
Great idea! Let's have some entity set up a helpline for hackers and internet freedom fighters, complete with a call center. Since there are mandatory record-keeping laws, they can also keep track of who they are talking to, what phone number they are using, and details about the call. Nothing in there would be ripe for governmental abuse. Who cares about subpoena's and government fishing expeditions?
You mean the same way that Maryland gerrymandered districts to eject a Republican congressman? District 3 in Maryland isn't even consecutive, it is 3 areas of the state that are 10-20 miles apart. Only fair that some Republicans in other states get to do the same.
So the Obama administration, which is actively engaged in drone strikes around the world, refuses to tell the truth about Benghazi, gives so-called "assault rifles" to Mexican cartels, and approves an NDAA which allows for active-duty military personal to make arrests on American soil, doesn't want to open-source information?
Seems very out of character for them. Who would have thought that an administration involved in all of the above would not want to give out information?

If I have to go to drill one weekend a month in order to keep any sort of military weapon.... then sign me up!
Someone killed by an AR15 is just as dead as someone killed by a .22 derringer. .
Or a car, knife, hands, feet, alcohol, etc.

We could also cut off everyone's trigger finger and receive the same effect. I really can't tell if you are being serious or if you are drunk.

RIANZ must have got their economic model from Obama's stimulus package.
Someone over at /. HQ has spent some time on a vision quest in Sonora. You should have left the Peace Pipe in Arizona.

Ever hear of the Zimmerman Letter?
I really hope there is a bag to catch all that brass falling from the machine guns.
So are you saying that Islam is a religion of terror and murder?

Colonized != Conquered.
And the problem with American military presence in Japan is? Based on the millions of innocent people killed by Imperial Japan, I have no sympathy.
I am filing a patent for Kobe Velociraptor. They spend their live eating Kobe Beef.
Which dinosaur would taste the best on my grill this summer? Can we move that type of dinosaur to the front of the genetically-recreated line?

Someone forgot to feed the hamster.
Then I will have to make sure that my hatchet has been sharpened, before this day of hacking.

Sweden was the home of the Vikings, Visigoths, and Ostragoths. Hardly a great example of a peaceful nation.
Does anyone in the IT field know how to speak without using "ummm" after every other word?
