look at the source, IP-ban the people, ive been calling for the banning of klerck for awhile now, but bitchslapping every one with a -1 for posting in a thread, and you better go read that thread, even on topic to the article posts were bitchslapped with -1. This is causing quite a steam, over at kuro5hin, jamie had shit fit about what has happened. This and the Junis story made me decide to no longer post on this site, but then when I realized that if I don't post, they win. I'll only post on this controversy, because now I believe Malda and the editors are indeed lazy and hypocritical. Take a look at meta-mod. The reason why I have negative karma now is because I meta modded negatively and suffered for it. I just wonder when the next free speech article will come out, bc then the flames will begin.

Klerck has rendered this site's comments unreadable due to his page lengthening posts, now while I am all for free speech, I believe his ISP should be contacted for attempted DOSing of a site, his comments deleted and his account blocked. If you continue to let him post his page lengthening rubbish, your fine site will no longer be a news for nerds site but just klerck, beacuse most of the slashdotters ive spoken too feel he should be banned as well, even though it might mean deleting his comments.

at best, the processors for macs are inherently inferior to Intels. For example, in video, it took 3 hours to compress a video on a macintosh, (same video, size and all, and it was in Cleaner 5),
meanwhile on my home machine, it took it 45 minutes..
The computer speeds were 700 mhz on both machines with the same amount of ram, (i took some out of the PC and matched it with the mac)

Another article that picks at Microsoft because they have a feature that is too hard to find.
    Bullshit
I can find the thing quite easily. Under my comptuer and under Folder Options.
The file tabs aren't hidden, they are easily visible. Just look up at the tabs like every other menu tab in windows.
Not all comptuer users are comptuer-smart, and if they decide, "oh hell, lets open mp3 with wordpad" and they won't even get the damn thing to do what it is supposed to do, instead, you get a text full of symbols and such.
Most people already know about the big programs out there and will ask how do they get the programs they want.
Believe me, lots of people STILL use winamp, even after MS' bundling of WM into the system.
I use emacs and vi for development, not visual studio, for my programming.
I use xchat, not mschat. (All of the progs are on a win2k computer)
And it goes on and on.
Its not just up to us to tell ms how to make their own product, but to educate others on how to use the computer and so on.
And stop bitching at microsoft for the littlest things.
Next they'll bitch for having IE in the start menu
