To prevent scammers from trying to game the system, votes are weighed based on how long, how often, and how accurate one has rated other messages.
I dont really see how that prevents scammers from gaming the system. All it means is that it'll take a few more scammers to make sure their definition of 'scam' isn't what everybody elses is. If they do that, when people vote scam pages as scams the system will think "Hey thats not right" and it'll lower the legit users accuracy.

Nope, no lying going on there. That Bill Clinton was on the up and up, real stright shooter.
It's still Perjury no matter if it's relevant or not. Go brush up on your Judicial procedure k?
Anyways, he was giving a deposition for the Paula Jones case, where he was accused of sexual harrassment of her. Which brings into question any other extra-marital relationships he has/had/will have, so yes, despite your claims it was *still* relavent, and he lied. Again, like I said, under Oath.
But, since you asked, how about Clinton calling off over half a dozen attacks to capture Bin Laden? That good enough for ya?
Just hazarding a guess, but I think one of these groups might have a class or two which covers essay writing for things such as the SAT, and a hint is that it's not the Bloggers.
For alot of Bloggers, High School (much less College) was quite a long time ago, and most employers aren't quite as pedantic as English Teachers are.
On a related note, on our 'Advanced English Comp' exam that all Juniors have to take at our College you get to make 3 mistakes or you have to take the English Comp course. No, I dont mean 3 major mistakes, I mean anything wrong gets counted against you. For example in this writeup alone, I'm sure I have more then 3 mistakes with comma usage alone, much less any of the other writing conventions.
And Bush lied repeatedly in various State of Union addresses, press conferences, and statements to the American people. I guess that was okay because he wasn't under oath?
Guess which one of these things are illegal? I bet you can't guess which one.
The numbers you are seeing at that site were not the numbers produced by their polling organization.
Care to link me to the proof of that? All I see is that they revised their figures. Heaven forbid that they recieve more data so they must update their model to more accurately reflect the data they've recieved.
How do you know how accurate their results were? How do you know that there wasn't a miscommunication betweent he pollsters and CNN? How do you know that the data was entered in the prescinct?
I could continue, but I wont. I mean hell, look at that last accident in Sago where the miners trapped. The news went from 12 safe, one dead to 12 dead, one Safe. That's an 84% swing, and the DUites are getting uppity over 7% and 6% respectively? Gimmie a break.
The Republicans are destroying the country, the environment, and the Earth. Not the Democrats. So get over it.
How the *fuck* did this get modded Insightful? Trying to rub it in our faces that Slashdot panders to the Liberal crowd? If somembody said "The Democrats are destroying the country." It'd get downmomdded into oblivion.
Just like this comment will get down modded into oblivion since it critizies liberals. Liberals are all about Free Speech, unless you disagree with them, then they try to keep you quiet.
hese are the conditions you need to get on board with:
- All changes the distributor wishes to make to the source code must be provided as discrete patches, along with a description of why the change is required - Releases are expected to be based on the CVS tag and/or source tarball for the release version, plus approved patches. - build configurations should also be submitted for approval. - The logo and the trademark are required to be used together.
To me #1 and #3 are blatant restrictions on the freedom of using firefox, so I can agree with Debian's stance of calling it something else.
The article, which was written by a guy, whose name is James, who shares the first name of a President, who helped create the constituion, which was written a long time ago, which is quite as old as when Communism was envisioned, which we can blame the Greeks for, which make great olive oil, which comes in extra virgin, which covers the majority of the slashdot crowd. . . .
I know he might have been saying that sarcasticly, but there's alot of people on/. who think there is a conspiracy about MS putting the DRM before security patches.
How did it affect DRM such that it encouraged MS to do this?
Well just guessing but:
A) These people who write these patches, and the people who work on the DRM and probably not the same. B) This probably has alot more code that needed to be changed then the DRM fix.
No, you shouldn't hope it does. If Intel gets on a core fixation then they'll cram all the cores they can on there without a bus able to keep each core running full bore. So either an 80-core Intel chip that has bandwidth to keep maybe 20 going, or an AMD chip with 20 cores that has no problem with bandwidth.

YES, That pissed me off to no end. That was a damn good show! Damn Showtime
That and they cancelled Carnivale which was just starting to get good too. Damn HBO.

well it stems from my profound usage of some other quantifiers like:
fuckload
shitload
assload
and so on.

Woah, Woah Woah. Do not link to Democratic Underground and expect to be taken seriously, that place is a cesspoll of batshit crazy lunatics.
I'm sorry but to me, a blowjob will never, ever compare to the value of thousands of American lives, or 100s of thousands of foreign lives.
You and every other people who bring is up always ignore the same point. He Lied Under Oath.
It's the copyright holders decision to say what can and cannot be used to distribute their content. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Bwaahahahahah, Intelligent Blogger my ass.
Why restrict your paying customers to less use than non-paying copyright infringers?
Why make a law saying you can't kill people, when murderers do it regardless? Your comment made no sense.

If they are true BECs, these experiments are the first evidence of them in the solid state.
Bah real physicists start the day with a nice large glass of Bose-Einstein Condensate (Now with Calcium)
Mozilla used to some years ago, but they removed native support when no one used MNG.
Not true, they removed it due to the fact that they had nobody that could maintain the code.

Oh wait, what was I talking about again?
Just what I found on WikiPedia, that and there doesn't seem to be any followup on the W3C site past the initial submission for consideration.
I know he might have been saying that sarcasticly, but there's alot of people on /. who think there is a conspiracy about MS putting the DRM before security patches.
Interestingly, the MS page includes a demo "oval with red background" which doesn't work in my Firefox browser.
VML isn't a standard, it was rejected by the W3C.
Given how Firefox ignores things like MNG and SVG, not surprised they didn't implement VML.
How did it affect DRM such that it encouraged MS to do this?

I figure, either it was a retarded editor, or the Liberals (re: Democrats) are _really_ a cheerful and easily amused folk if that counts as hilarious.
Had to do some editing for you. Never underestimate their stupidity.
