    This build (5728) has a number of improvements and updates from RC1, but has not been put through the same internal testing process as RC1 and therefore may be unstable in certain installations.

    I know a guy who's maintained the same install of Gentoo on his laptop for over four years who has kept it up-to-date by using portage without a re-install. Talk about impressive for a Linux distribution.)

    Steps to recreate this 'amazing' feat:

    1) Install Debian
    2) apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
    3) Profit!

    Not all of the outgoing Gmail servers are on the list. Just a couple. Course I do find it annoying when my mail get's sent through one, but am I worrying? Not really.

    For example when you tell them that they blacklisted your IP address and you can vouche that you don't spam, but they won't do anything because you belong to a /16 where somewhere sombody is spamming. blacklisting might be a good idea, but organizations like spamhaus make it bad in practice.

    Complain to people who use the list, not the people making the list.

    Its all stupid. You see them release "controlled" video's onto youtube and other blogsites when they are promoting a movie/song but if its something that wasn't thought of by them they suddenly want to sue the pants off everyone.

    You can't have it both ways.


    Yea you can. They own the copyright for it, they can control how it's distributed. If they want $foo to go on YouTube they can do that. If they dont want $bar to get put on YouTube, that's their choice too.

    I also had to re-enter a login name and password when I returned to sites requiring registration, like The Wall Street Journal Online. On Amazon.com, I couldn't immediately see book recommendations based on past purchases _ something I enjoy.

    Thank god they can't find out who I am based on my payment details . . . oh . . wait.

    Water, on the other hand, is solid and fairly dense at room temperature.
    Can anyone spot-check this for sanity?

    I dont know about you, but room temperature around here is a bit more then 0C, so 'round here our water is in it's liquid form at room temperature.

    How does a mixture of Borohydride(not pure hydrogen) and Water(which is already only 2/3 hy
    drogen) end up being more hydrogen than Liquid Hydrogen? Isn't Liquid Hydrogen pure hydrogen?


    They're saying there's more Hydrogen in the mixture per unit volume then pure hydrogen. So I'm guessing (most likely incorrectly) that their substance has a higher density then liquid hydrogen. Higher density => More 'Stuff' per volume => More Hydrogen.

    Course I could be wrong.

    So if everybody started using Ford Pinto's you should too? Dont mistake most common with best, much less best for you.
