Umm, no I meant bi-direction as in an eavesdropping device. Look up infinity transmitter, I'm sure the govt/agencies have nice modern hi-tech versions of these.
*tinfoilhat* What's to keep some other spy agency/group from disguising a coke can that looks just like the innocent 'outgoing call only + gps' with a 'bi-directional + gps + other nasty goodies' can? */tinfoilhat*
No, I dont think *you* get it, the Military has liscensed that frequency, it's theirs to do as they please. The keyless-systems have to accept any and all interference coming from the military because the military controls those frequencies.
Even unstable is pretty damn stable for me. Unless you're running some completely obscure configs, I've never had a problem with unstable. The box only reboots when the power goes out.
These codec tests are unusual in that they adhere to ITU-R BS.1116-1.

I dont know many people who still listen to the radio, most people I know listen to either CD's they've bought or the burned cd's from stuff they've downloaded.
Your math doesn't hold up. Just because there are 26^17 combo's doesn't mean they all can/could be used.
EG: characters 4-8 are body style/features/engine/type/etc and 10 is the year.
I'm sure a car from 2004 will have any of the similar features of a car from the 80's, so there goes 1 whole factor, down to 26^16, I'm sure if you went through the other characteristics it would narrow it down even further.

I think everybody is still overlooking the HAM operators. Most of the time, they're one of the first people on the scene, and a few flips of a switch and they're up.
Erm, a standard bardcode doesn't hold much, considering the MaxiCode (AKA UPSCode) barcode can only hold up to 100 ASCII characters, so you'd need a hellaciously large barcode reader/writer/media to store an entire mp3.
Well if it's ok then, gimmie your IP and root pw so I can scan your computer to make sure you dont have anything that will cause problems to everbodys intarweb.
Nothing to see here.

Actually IPv9 is TUBA. Which is described in RFC1347.
It's an obvious fake, look at that post, it says Subscribe . . I'm already a subscriber, so thus it should of said Subscription.

Ever see a rusted VIN tag? Pain in the ass to even tell what letter it is, now adding even more possibilities . . .

like:
tcpdump (options) | grep | grep
It's a horrible kludge but it'd work.
