Actually it maight also be popular due to the fact that it is the title of a book by Molly Ivins. AFAIK (I have not read it yet) it covers his early life as a baseball manager, business man, and his start in politics. I'm told it's a good read for the parts covering the Texas politics.
Diebold is based in Ohio. Not what I from experiance call left coast. I have no idea where they keep the programmers for the e-vote hardware, but I would not be amazed if they are in or near the base of operations.
"Showtime's old "Robin Hood" series turned a story about rich vs. poor into a story about Saxons vs. Normans (and, like Mists of Avalon, threw in a good bit of pagonism vs. Christianity to boot)."
I thouhgt that was a BBC series, or were there more then one?
Yah, but he aint drop dead gorgeous either. Unless you are into that sort of thing. That was what the major part of the rant was about, how the heros were all pretty and the evill bad guys were ugly. I'm all for less slap you in the face stortytelling and deeper plots, I even sometimes write to companies when I think they could have really ramped up our experiance by making a few changes (or adding a little more they didnt bother to go into). In BGaE we kinda know how it's going to go from the start. After the into fight and when the Militery shows up. I had fun and a bit of an escape playing it and that really all I ask for as a baseline in games. If something can go farther or give me more I'll be blown away and shout praise from the hilltops. Movies are often this way too, but that takes us way further offtopic.
You missed that not only vets got the vote. Anyone who performed service to the country doing his time be it as a trooper, janitor or teacher was given the right to vote.
If you didnt want to deal with doing service for the countery (in whatever capacity they needed) you could jsut live and not worry about it.
it's been about16 years since I read the book and frankly cant remember what the author thought of the government inthat book, maybe it's time for us to both read it again.
I say the same thing about Neil D Voss all the time. First he was in the demoscene as Sequencer and later composed music for games Such as Tetriphere, The New Tetris, and others. When I last talked to him (E-mail) he had lost all his old demo music in computer crashes, and did not have any of the masters to the Tetris stuff. e was working on a few GBA game soundtracks but aparently could not give me details.
Yes, I too long for being able to label shalevs with Japanimation, Afganistanimation and Americanimation!
Anime is not a loan word as the french word uses one of those accent marks slashcode wont let me put in. anime is the result of contraction the word animation (last reliable source I saw on this subject had this explination).
The problem is BESM is not a "rule of Anime" or any BS like that (many people make it out to be). For as many BESM shows there are one can find shows where people have more "normal" size facial features and heads.
Sorry if I seem a bit snappy but this is a pet peeve of mine. I enjoy a number of shows that are BESM but it isnt all there is to Anime.
You need to add the word "enough" to your quote about good men.
Never explain away as incompetence what is clearly intent.
If you dont get why I say this read the e-mails and memos about the software.

I think the important point is the issues are not being fixed by Diebold.

I thought Gupta did not qualify as an expert (IBM pointed this out) so his thing is only what he thinks not matters of fact.
I think it would be more apropriate to be the I'yam (what I'yam).
7-zark-7 must die!
Try reading the book where there is no atomic bomb.
Considering that 28 days later took it's latter half from Day of the triffids (as I remember) isnt that kind of redundant.

Thats nothing, just check into the background of everyone working ay Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems.
Like this?
Looks like a fun experament. I wonder if you have some more details on how it sounded and how the flame behaved.

On TV where? By only listing TV this excludes all movies and OAV.
And this is where 8legged.com comes in. Cooking and the in depth explinations of the science behind the dish.
I strongly suggest getting coca nibs for your chips, makes them crunchy and chocolicious.

Suddenly I feel like I am reading comments about The Sco Group vs. Everyone.
If you or Bill would get back out on the path to the presidency, we wouldnt be in this mess.
Meadow party in '04!

Spoiler Warning.
Nice theory, but the Leader of the Resistance files in the face of it. He is a pig (literally).
Skateboards and Saxaphones? Cant let Homers vices be all there is.

It dosent help that we can not buy most american cartoons that are no longer onthe air.
I enjoy Anime, but I also enjoy Freakazoid and Earthworn Jim.
