I think that show is a crime. Not because it's a crap reality show, but because they dont give the "contestants" the knowldge they need to sanely engage in weightloss. Also that "scale" they have pisses me off to no end as it's a load of crap. I doubt it's even a real scale. The only good bit is at the end where they show you the person who was booted out, most of them seem to be serious about changing their lives and have continued to exercise, eat right and loose excess weight.
Back when Sim Golf came out, I bought it becuase of whose name was on the box (hadn't let me down before). And after install ing the game would not play, it kept saying "Please insert original disc". Turns out whatever the fuck Macrovision sold them refuses to let the software work if you are trying to play the game and the original is in a CD-R/RW drive. The Solution from them was "Buy a new CD-ROM only drive" and my response was to get the no-cd patch,and tell them to fuck off. They are on my "pirate first, if it's good buy later" list.
Avoid the dub audio in Spirited away and read the subtitles. That translation is much better and makes some specific points that are avoided/danced around in the english dub.
I hate dumb battle AI as well, but in Tales of Symponia you can command each character with the game paused, so you can at least have a bit of control. This while still annoying is better then the ones where you just set the AI on the grid and hope the characters dont act too retarded.
I have already seen the short film "The competetive" and while Gabe and Tyco are not the focus of the film, any true contest between men comes down to that exact question.
Keep in mind polythestic religions have to pay a per go license, so while Christianity gets off easy with it's Trinity license, Hindus and Hare Krishnas (as well as most other religions) are due for hundreds of licenses.
Good thing we are not on the Disc, I'd hate to see small god license fees.
Well, now that Monsanto is selling the Terminator gene, the next time someone "saves" a plant they can also hack it so it produces sterile offspring. Then they will be the only source for that plant once the "normal" version has been extinguished from this earth.
Bad news. Monsanto has been adding the Terminator gene to a LOT of seeds (for a number of years), go to any store and take a look at some popular food and decorative plant seeds. It's the first thing I look to avoid when buying seeds.
First thing I look for on a seed package is that god damn terminator gene. If it's got that I put it down and make a note never to purchase that seed from that company.

IBM has not but others have. Also even not haveing 1337 programing skills I can see the BS and lies SCO puts out. MY favorite was the complaint about SMP. SCO gave Allen Cox the hardware and help to develop Linux SMP. They even (months after the lawsuit) still had web pages up braging about the things they did to help Linux development.

Emperors New Groove was decent. No singing (well except the "theme song guy").
