Amen. I wish I would haven't missed the boat. It sounded stupid to me until I understood it. Then it all made sense. It's a shame people are so afraid of what they don't know, instead of just trying to learn something they can't grasp.
Nothing has value unless there is a general consensus about it being valuable. As per your quote, millions of people think bitcoin has value as well as about $6billion dollars of market cap. That's not including the massive push by venture capitalist.
The bank has issued no decision and will not make a decision until April 15th. Although it is highly speculated that the outcome will remain true, it is still.....speculation.
It's psychologically easier to hate bitcoin as a technologically inclined person than to admit to oneself that they missed a big opportunity to get rich quick. Perhaps if one could let go of this notion and look deeper into how the protocol functions, one might change ones mind.
The consensus between economist, politicians and scientist alike all agree that crypto currency is here to stay. Why do you disagree that bitcoin is not to be trusted?
Does someone pay for these questions and then have a bunch of smart people answer? How much does this cost? I want to ask everyone on here for a great patent idea.
Indentured servitude was a form of debt bondage, established in the early years of the American colonies and elsewhere. It was sometimes used as a way for poor youth in Britain and the German states to get passage to the American colonies. They would work for a fixed number of years, then be free to work on their own.
I'm all for diversity, but why is this a problem? Where is the big push to get more men in ballet or cosmetics? Is this really something society should be spending energy on?
Root your phone. Install an app that does per app permissions like LBE security. The facebook app also checks your GPS every single time you open the app. I think everyone would be surprised how many apps do what once they do per app permisions. SoundHound checks gps almost every sing hour. It's insane.
I remember the beginning. it was almost 10 years ago and The catholic church was shutting down churches and loosing members. They identified the problem as "science is killing god". internal documents stated that a war between religion and science was hitting a tipping point. The church hired a think tank. A memo from the think tank was leaked. It read that to cause doubt about religion in science was the same tactic needed to fight science. A wedge needed to be driven into the foundation of science to cause doubt. They had Identified an "exploit" . It was Evolution. The tactic would be to cause doubt by offering a religious based explanation and it was called creationism.

If you truly understand digital currencies then you support them. If you do not understand them, you dislike and distrust them. Do more research.
