I really, truly believe that anyone will do a better job than Bush.
I'm still fairly young (30), and for better or worse, I've not voted before.
This is the first time that I've actually sat down and watched the debates, and I have to say that Bush just comes off as a complete idiot.
When he responded to questions as to why health care costs have increased so much with, "I sure hope it wasn't the administration *laughter*", I almost felt sick.
This is the guy we selected to run our country? Does he act the same way when he's speaking with foreign leaders? Did he think that the debates were unimportant? Did he think that that particular question was unimportant?
Either way, I lost any respect I might have had for him right there. I may not know all there is to know about the man, but I know we can do better than that.
Work on such a system should start as soon as possible, since CO2 levels leaped up 2 ppm in the past two years as global warming becomes more of a reality.
As a resident of northeast Ohio, I say lets wait until the average temperature here during the month of January is about 60. Then, lets get these babies running.:-P
It's possible that guns could potentially be used to kill other people. This makes them all bad. Please ban them.
Actually, now that we've thought more about it, this is also true of knives, rocks, sticks, spoons, old smelly socks, and rubber mallets. Please ban them too!
This guy seems a bit biased to me. I just got the same SA 8000HD box myself last week. Here are my thoughts...
First, he spent too much for his display. I got one of the new Mitsubishi 62725s and it was only $5000.00, and to be honest, I think it's much better looking than the Sony LCDs out there now. Mind you, this is coming from somebody that owns a lot of Sony hardware, and is quite happy with it.
Second, there are plenty of options when it comes to connections, and while he does say that it wasn't that big a deal, I still think he made too big a deal about it.
Now on to the quality. This is where I do tend to agree with him on some things. I too have seen some issues with the picture stopping for a second. It is a little disappointing at first, but it's never been more than a second. I have also seen some noise in the picture from time to time. I don't know if this is a problem with the signal of the fact that we're coming off the disk or what.
However, I'm very very happy with the picture quality on most of the stations. It looks awesome! It's true that some stations look better than others, but the overall quality of the picture is more than worth the money if you ask me.
I found myself giggling several times this weekend while watching football. The picture is unbelievable. I stayed up several nights watching IMAX type productions on "The Serengeti" and "Mystical Cities of Asia". Like I said, the football is amazing! I can't wait to go home and watch more!
One thing that sucks about Time Warner is that they don't have CBS HD available. At least where I'm at.
There are some good and bad things that's for sure. However, I don't think it's as bad as this guy leads you to believe. Overall, I give it a B+ experience thus far.
Mod it back down then. I tried it four or five times and could not get it to work. The same initial form kept reloading. Not unlike other sites that only work with IE. I tried it in IE and it worked. I have since gone back to FireFox and it worked.
I appologise. If I could edit my original post, I would. Unfortuantely, I cannot. Coward.
I don't know what's going on. I clicked the Submit link like 4 or 5 times, and it only re-displayed the same form page. I tried it in IE and it worked the first time, continuing to the next page.
"because people in your age group are too damn lazy to get off their hung-over asses and vote"
So, you're a Bush supported? Sure sounds like something a conservative asshole would say.

If these bastards haven't surpassed doubleclick by now, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

These things print too small, and the instructions for printing them reference IE 5. See your Forbes stock now!

I'll take one!

I'm betting it was this guy who is behind this whole Rubik's Cube thing! Get him DHS!

They wouldn't happen to be named Doc, Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, Sneezy, Happy, & Bashful, would they?
Is it April again already?

And I think that *insert your favorite band here* sucks ass as well.
Boy, you were right. That was pretty easy to come up with.

Actually, U2 has covered "Paint it Black" and it was pretty good.

I think we're talking about faster rendering of pages and such. Not application start-up time.

But Zak already knows about legos. He's a maniac for that stuff!

I don't know what they are, but the install complained that I didn't have them enabled, and that I couldn't use it unless they were. I hit cancel.
I've shut off and/or disabled everything I could in IE, and never use it. Can somebody explain what IE Add-Ons are? Sounds dangerous.

Then maybe they should include a higher capacity SD card instead?

"XAML was designed intentionally to tie Microsoft's browser closer to Windows."
Isn't this what the whole DoJ thing was about? Is it possible to tie IE and Winddows closer together?
