I agree, but... Think about new generation growing up - some of them of course will get some of modern consoles (ps2 etc). Some part of them will have an idea to do something not conventional with it (hack). But probably not - most of them will become games addict etc.
And for example if such young person will get a piece of electronics (that look really cool - like electronics stuff) he may feel the spirit and do something, then noone says that he will not switch to hacking xbox'es and other stuff!

Maybe? There are debates that the apes SIV jumped to human in several ways. Some say that hunters who eat apes (and it was a bloody work) catched it and spread into the world. Other say that people who implated apes `balls' spread it. Maybe the examination of the `new' specie will tell us something. But I don't have much hopes...

It must flight. Sinking (lets call it submerging - maybe it will work as sub...) is an extra feature for which one will have to pay extra. As for now it can glide. And flight (vertically towards the Earth).

For sure not. ``Corporations are Evil''. They are adapting to the situation very quickly to make profits - either short or long term. For example from some point of view SCO strategy was very risky short term strategy. While IBM has other plans. Who knows? In this game players change sides very often...

Thats exactly the point. And if GPL suceeds, linux wins, then business will not hestitate to accept, invest and use it.

It would be better, but the situation requires the fight. So the best thing to do is to fight SCO, win the fight and then after that fight linux will be seen in `different colors' from the business point of view. Of course this is the optimistic and probable variant. There are other which I don't want to think about right now.

I've seen several times that a laboratory was down for a week or more due to failure and necessity of installing everything from scratch. Of course they do backups of important data, but student labs etc. are not considered as important. But then why do they swear when have to reinstall everything ;-)

The bandwitdth and processing power - there will be a huge group of people willing to pay for possibility of having voice chat and the business will do the rest... Personally I prefer no graphics and sound. Only monitor and keyboard (and some mp3 in the background...)
