Actually, a horsepower has something to do with how much weight a horse can pull in like 2 seconds or something. This goes back fifteen years ago when I was in high school. When I get home I'll have to look it up again.
I personally know grown adults that drive way worse than kids. Its not just kids. I've been driving like a grampa the day I got my license. I drive 5mph under the speed limit everywhere I go.
I'm running three monitors. I play EVE Online and BF3 mainly. The downside to my setup is that I have two flatscreens and an old CRT. I use the CRT for movies, a 24" for my browser, and a 27" as my gaming screen. I tried setting up EVE on two monitors and I hated it. I couldn't imagine playing an FPS with it. Too much area to cover with your eye. I simply like to view my screen without having to turn my head. Having my browser, PC Stats / Movie, and my game in each in their own dedicated screen is awesome.
Once upon a time the biggest concern was if your hardware was capable of running the game or not. Now it's more " How frustrating is this experience likely to be ? "
Holy hell. You're like me from the future. Couldn't agree more.
Been playing MMOs for over a decade now. "This game sucks" "Why do I play this?" "This company is terrible". FFS, if its that bad DON'T PLAY. *head desk*
I'll say now that I'm not buying it. Then again, I say I'm cancelling my WoW account and never returning. Only, in four months I renew, level to 45, get bored, and quit again. I do this three times a year. Diablo 3, told myself I wasn't going to bother. Week after release, I bought it. Blizzard always seems to sucker me into their games. No matter how often I tell myself I'm not playing, I come back. >.
Certainly has my attention as to what the game could be though.
I knew it was something along the lines of that. I recall something about during one of the World Wars a telescope being confiscated for thoughts of being spies, but was given back the day before some astronomers wanted to view the stars behind the sun during a solar eclipse. They did in fact able to see the stars behind the sun showing the world that the sun's gravity bent the light the went around it. This may not be 100% accurate, but I know its something along those lines.
Exactly. I was shutoff once before. I called my ISP and a guy hinted to me that it was my uploads. Never once mentioned about downloading.
Start thinking about how you can keep your neighbours alive during any sort of crisis, and I promise you will live much, much longer.
Survival of the fittest. Not a chance I'll help those out. Poor planning on your part does not constitutes an emergency on mine.
Suddenly that XDM I carry around all the time seems useful, doesn't it?
If this country were ever to go sideways, I can assure you currency won't be stocks and cash. It will be brass and lead.
Take him out of society. Harvest his organs. Move on.
And people like you are why we pay so much for insurance.
I found it (that was a quick search). I knew it was something like this:
"The mechanical horsepower, also known as imperial horsepower, of exactly 550 foot-pounds per second is approximately equivalent to 745.7 watts."

We'll kill each other off before we even come close to interstellar space travel.
Did IQs just suddenly drop while I was away?
Really tempted to mark this as insightful.
Just take the Red Line and call it good.

The movie Armageddon where the horny smart guy says "So, are we going swimming on this asteroid?"
We may never see a cure for any of the illnesses out there. Big Pharma makes more money on treating than curing.

No different than my medflight that was billed for $67,000.
Obviously you've never packed a moving truck.
Anything promoted by Ashton Kutcher turns me away immediately. ack
I'm not too interested in seeing play-by-play on an astronaut's decent into madness.
I for one would rather enjoy viewing the breaking point of that exact moment coming up on LiveLeak or something. =D

501 Days with the same person? 501 days with a WOMAN!?
*spins office chair around to glance at woman sitting at the desk behind me*
I'd jettison myself after 501 minutes. Hell with THAT.

Gravity certainly bends light. But as far as slowing it down, I always thought was a constant represented by the letter "c".
My outlook has always been hard work may pay off in the future, but laziness pays off now. I'm the V.P. of Lazy despite what the weather is!
