I graduated in 2010, so it was fairly recent. I had 3 Web Design Classes (CSS, JS, HTML, Dreamweaver) and a Networking Class (prepares you for the A+ certification).
While I hate tobacco with every fiber of my being. It killed my grandfather, and my cousin's on his way there too. Not to mention I'm allergic to it and with enough exposure to tobacco smoke I start sneezing, getting a sore throat, etc.. I find this a complete and total violation of a person's rights. Fine that they don't smoke around me, or at work. But they should be able to smoke as much as they want in their own privacy.
Other posters are thinking it might be used for assassination. It's much MUCH more subtle than that. If I were a pharmaceutical, I'd create epidemics. New diseases even. That would reap in billions.
A FOSS Operating System such as ubuntu needs $$ to maintain its quality, like it or not. You can download it for free, and you can even play around with the source code. You get what you pay for.
Plus, if enough revenue comes in through ubuntu, Amazon will take note and if future commercial relations happen between them, that could only mean a rise in ubuntu's (and by extension linux/gnu/FOSS) popularity.

You sure about that? Most people I know actually leave to other countries. Sometimes the flight + medical procedure in another coutnry is actually cheaper.
There is a difference between banning and restricting. Banning means no one will have a gun (except criminals). Restricting means that most gun owners will not be mentally unstable individuals prone to shootings. Note the lack of shootings that occur in europe vs usa.
and sadly these cannabinoid-based drugs will be the only form of legal cannabis in many western countries, while the plant itself is illegal. No way the gov't is gonna let Big Pharma lose money to people growing their own medicine. (GW Pharmaceuticals)
They probably don't consider us as customers. I live in both Germany and Spain and everyone uses an adroid device (tablet/phone). Not many have apple devices. At least nowadays.
