How can they not when they can get so many clients with a nice name (blackphone) and privacy promises (after the latest NSA leaks).
The thing is, even if this project is not as privacy-oriented as they try to make it seem, the market is developing towards more privacy and that is good.
Sure it is secure but how secure? We all know no security is perfect, who tested this?
Also how can we know that NSA will not ADD a device on postal to search. Is there a feature which disable such option?
How much is the expected price? How much will we need to pay for our privacy? Furthermore, can I buy the phone without getting my name registered?
Yes sir, that`s why I believe bitcoin will fail sooner or later. I wish I am mistaken but I do believe at some point it will burst into zeros and ones. However, I am sure this will be the future but until something solid and trustful stands behind there is no way.
I mean look, even RSA had dirty hands.
My suggestion would be to let people use any material without having to worry about copyright as long it is not used commercial.
Copyright owners tend to use the fact that they lose a lot of profit from the internet. However, there have been studies showing that because of the internet several things get popular. For example Game of Thrones, it is released in the US, if only the US could see it (in fact only those who paid the subscription in the US) there GoT would not be the success it is right now. HODOR COPOR
That would be right if Google was how it was at the start. However Google is not how it once was as it is no more just a search engine. However, sure the laws in a country can change. That does not stop Google from moving its will-be-"illegal" server in a country where there will be no problem.
I think the question is the wrong question to ask. The right question would be for how long we, the data owners, will allow the internet to store more of our data.
It`s not the fault of those who enforce the law. The weight falls on our shoulder because we activily participate into the political arena 1 day every few years to vote for an incompetent guy and then we sit back in front of our laptop watching movies until the next elections.
When was the last time you did anything to change something?!? WHEN ?
I agree with you to a certain degree. If I am right patents in UK at least last for 10 years. In our world 10 years is too long. That`s not simply a reward for the innovator but pretty much the whole world.
that is what I have been saying for quite a while.
well i downloaded the series in case it goes down, it will be a good shot to get many views in my channel once it goes viral :)
Someone on this article truly deserves the title of a "hacker"
He deserves as any other officer who reveals a crime. NSA was breaching the Human Rights of the US and Alien citizens.

I somehow enjoy reading about computer AI.

Uncle Sam could build it as long as it is for "fair use".
