Just put the shooting range on the side opposite the turbine building, so you won't hurt anyone. And clean up the lead regularly, that stuff is dangerous.
In all fairness, there are reasons not to give people paper printouts of their vote. It makes your vote really really easy to sell, inviting a whole other kind of corruption.
How many receipts do you want to buy, and what candidate names do you want me to put on them?
From a purely political standpoint, I think the best way to insure these machines aren't used nefariously is to do rigorous exit polling and make sure your candidate (whoever he/she may be) suceeds by a margin that can't be fudged by a few hundred votes one way or another.
Asking someone who they voted for does not mean they will tell you what they actually did.
Does rigorous exit polling involve thumbscrews?
How do you intend to make sure your candidate succeeds? Oh, yeah. How many receipts did you want to buy?
So why not feed the entire mail source to the filters, as well as the contents of the retrieved data? Include messages of the results of DNS lookups.
Does it make sense to also use the contents of spam-reporting mailing lists and Usenet groups? Of course, one should first run such broadcast messages through a Bayesian filter trained on real mail, so only spam will be accepted.
In order to render the image it would have to be dowloaded.
Downloading the images becomes part of the invited DDoS.
This is how spammers know that they found a working e-mail address.
Have your mail server accept spam to nonexistent accounts, and also run it through the appropriate parts of the spam handlers. The messages can be fed as spam to the filters. But only emulate reception on some of the spam, so the spammer can't reliably test for the filters (you could also use a Bayesian filter based on known names so the known-spam handlers can emulate a higher reception rate on Rumplestilskin names which resemble real names).
"Looks like a bigger creative leap than Segway..."
Well, it was said that cities will be redesigned for the Segway.
I think this powered surfboard and the personal mortar will redesign cities much more quickly.
Except in some cities in Florida which already have extensive systems of canals which are suitable for commuting.
("Computer! What's the situation down on the planet?")
This is not an NLP problem.
It is an AI problem.
Which planet? There are 87 rooms discussing planets. Bridge... has been discussing the nearby planet, fifth in this system, the homeworld of the researchers, time until refitting at Earth...
Which situation? Charge level of the hand phasers in the shuttle craft, percent of cargo loaded, two crew members in the woods, times until sunsets, how many agenda items have been completed, percent of village covered by lava, which course is being served in the Hall...
Does "down" involve the comet which will impact in 870 years?
Does "on the planet" include the craft which just uncloaked and will crash in 83.6 seconds?
I can remember one time in Deleware, we intentionally put a forecasted high temp for the day 6 degrees too high and watched 3 of the local channels quote it.
Now we know. Global warming is an artifact of weather service jokes.
You'd have to check the legislative intent behind the excemption of state health agencies, but I suspect the Constitution is the reason.
The federal government only has a few powers which it is allowed to use or take from the states. The states are in charge of their activities, which is why they all have governments and laws of their own. It is not a good idea for the federal government to give orders to a state agency.

Are you implying that you discriminate against the life challenged? Dead people are people too.

I'll chat with the elderly neighbors while my home robot goes shopping.
Channel-hopping will look like Dance Dance Revolution.
"George, you missed one!"
Correlation is not causation.
You never heard of Skynet's growth?

Petition to outlaw buses.
.. because I always mount a spare network.
Just tell them to use Google to find the proper meaning of "begs the question".
My coach doesn't need voice dialing, he just sends someone into the game with a message.

Computing... That is certainly not necessary, darling.
Isn't it enough that we've already lined him up for a slashdotting?
Well, now we know one more thing to be included in future "Ultimate Geek Cars".
I don't use Windows.
Also, past 25 miles or so the big Doppler beam reaches the horizon and zips higher and higher up. More stations would fill in the low-level gaps.
Now we know.

Well, in Iraq looting and trade of illegal goods cause blackouts.
...and the flying car factory will be on the counterweight, delivered via transporter along with a teardrop-shaped sports utility floater.
