Which is why it doesn't have to work. You live the good life for a few years, off of someone else's VC, and then declare that it's not viable. You close up shop and move on to the next opportunity.
Touch by default? If your finger touches my screen, I reserve the right to break it off.
I can't imagine the hellish nightmare retouching 1000 photos would be with a screen full of finger smears. You'll have to pry that mouse out of my cold, dead, hands.
I don't subscribe to any print magazines but I have several I read on my tablet.
I do still get the local newspaper every day. There's something very grounding about having my first coffee and reading the paper every morning. Even though the paper gets smaller every year, I've been doing it for a very long time and it's just part of my day.
I think the real reason behind the 3rd party hacks aren't to make it "fine" there to keep people from taking hostages. Due to the economy in my part of the country I was forced to take an admin gig that was mostly windows. Since I didn't even own a windows machine I figured I should get one at home, for work stuff. If I had to use it without those 3rd party hacks, I'd stick forks in my eyes. With them, I only get the urge to hurt myself a few times a day.
The days of family photos being passed down are gone. A shoe-box full of slides is remarkable durable, barring a fire. When grandma dies her collection of digital photos dies with her. While perhaps no exactly a "first world problem" it's a pretty significant issue when you consider the amount of history that can be lost. It's especially important to artists. Imagine if all of art produced by the likes of Picaso, Rembrandt, Van Gogh vanished when the died and someone shut down their computers. Most archival media available is susceptible to silent bit rot and spinning media requires care as well.
Holy mother of god.

"There are no US tanks in Bagdad!"
So a "racist joke" has to automatically be about "black people?" Who's the racist now?
Not without, at least, dinner and drinks. (tits would be a big help too)
How the hell do they put a hotspot, that lasts for 15 days, inside a magazine when my fucking cellphone can barely make it through the day?
Sounds like a hosts file problem.
You'll just have file an incident report on yourself, with cyber, when you get your mail.
Says the AC running a business from his/her own asshole.....
If you think paying $1000 for a video card is a good idea, maybe you should just save that money and move out of your mom's basement.
Hops are a pretty effective anti-pathogen. In most beers the alcohol content isn't significant in that regard.
Seems you should learn how the internets work.....

Ever try to find a pay phone these days?
Yet you type remarkably well. Please pull your pants up.
I see what you did there.
It's a shitty way to die.
As opposed to a really excellent rapist? You know, the kind that brings flowers.
In all fairness, if you had all the data you wouldn't have to extrapolate....
I hope there's a special level of hell set aside for them.
