    I just googled several examples of boarding passes with all of the information listed in the summary, directly readable. Yes, not all airlines include all of that in plain text, but many of them do.

    Brian Krebs explained yesterday that by using an easily available online barcode reader, attackers can retrieve a person's name, frequent flyer number, and record locator

    Or, you could just read that information from the boarding pass, no barcode reader required.

    Lots of malware actually does close security holes, after exploiting the device. If you've worked very hard (or shelled out large amounts of case) for a working zero day, the last thing you want is some other asshole compromising your hacked system and screwing up your back door.

    Your data plan usage ALWAYS goes up on the beta releases. They do a ton of instrumentation and telemetry. It's also partly to blame for the extra shitty battery life you get from the beta releases.

    As has been pointed out, you can nay say all you want, it works. It's actually been part of the beta releases for a while but they have always pulled it before the GM release. It stayed in this time.

    No kidding. I looked into them a while ago when I broke a phone still on contract. Good prices, they'd buy me out of my contract, yada, yada, yada....

    Talked to a couple coworkers who have T-Mobile and share my 120mile round trip commute. It works great, unless you want a data connection......70% of my commute corridor has no T-Mobile data coverage at all. Don't get me wrong, my AT&T unlimited data coverage often sucks, but it works fine where I spend most of my time.

    I think I'll pass on T-Mobile for the time being.

    The whole article is how this device was used to build the bomb.....get to the end and they add a correction. The FERMIAC wasn't used until after the Manhattan project was completed. Basically the whole article is wrong, they said it was wrong, and it got green-lighted here.
