The Thor films seem to have a lot of appeal for my wife and female friends, partly due to beefcake. I wonder how much confusion this will cause between the comics and movies.
They probably don't allow you to make a couple of robots out of spare parts so you can mock the films you are ebing forced to watch, to retain your sanity.
My wife loves this app. I have no idea if she's actually learned anything using it, but for a while she was putting in a couple of hours every day with the language lessons.
I'm not that excited about the IP information being sent by the lights. Kind of cool, but I think it's an application waiting for a use. Using Power over Ethernet for the lights themselves is pretty damn cool. Easier to set up lights (you only need a CAT5 cable, instead of electircal cabling, etc), and, assuming your switch has a good enough UPS on it, you can have lighting that will stay up during a power outage.
Assuming that the rate is constant, that's 7.5 Mbps for image files. Just how large are these imaages, and how much bandiwdth does he have where he wouldn't notice the slowdown?
This all sounds way too complex for an oven. Lots of moving parts in a high heat area sounds like a recipe for failure (HA!)
Things I'd like to see:
Faster warm up time for the oven
More even heating throughout the oven
Or alternately, they see that you do exercise and eat well, then why are your cholesterol levels bad? At the very least, it's good to have that as a baseline.
If you don't trust your doctor, why do you go to him or her? They need access to sensitive information about you to properly diagnose issues, and to spot trends. Do you refuse to answer the questions they ask prior to every visit? Do you hold back family history of illness? Well then, good luck on catching something before it kills you.
I'm alright with my doctor having this information, in theory, but I really don't trust the insurance companies with this. "So, I see that you like taco bell. We're raising your rates."
It seems like one of the biggest issues with recycling plastics is all the different types, and each type having a different method to get back into a usable form. I see this as being really useful for breaking down big mixtures of plastic, where it would be too costly to sort them out. I wouldn't even use the oil for fuel, make more plastics!
Really, plastics has me more wrried about oil consumption in th elong-run, than the fuel usage itself.
Based on TFS, the phone is running a program that identifies devices, and then pops up amazon's part number, etc. Sounds like Shazaam, but for stuff, instead of music.
Thank you Amazon for making it that much easier to browse items at my local Best Buy, and then purchase from amazon. I'm wondering how many stores will be willing to carry this if/when it becomes more widely available.
Wow, that bike looks really horrible to ride. My knees hurt just from watching the video. It looks like a collapsable commuter bike stretched out a bit.I really don't see the appeal.
Not going to be much help, since Golden age Comics is a specialized market....
Check out the EC comics, especially "Tales From the Crypt" and "Weird Tales" These are the comics that caused the comic book code to be put in place.
I also liked the little bit of plastic man I read.
++ on Tintin, although I wouldn't think of it as Golden age per-se. Still worth reading.
Finally, check out your local library. Mine at least has a large collection of graphic novels. Could help you save some money.

What sorts of things is she good at? It doesn't help to recommend a sysadmin position if she isn't detail-orientated.

Assange is modeling? Yay, I guess.
But money is the one thing you can use to hurt a corproation. Enough people with multi-million lawsuits, and they won't be able to afford it.
I'm hoping for nce hefty civil lawsuits for pain and suffering.

I'm not surprised Neadrathals ate veggies. Look at their teeth. Cooking food though, that's pretty cool.

I'm very happy to see this. Its a start.
I wonder what they are doing to guard against contamination from Earth bugs. IIRC, the Mars rovers showed up as dirty.
I'll use it in my car, which gets 100 MPG due to the fuel line magnets. Too bad I can't afford the conversion kit so it can run on water :)
Until you get to the cell phone counting.

One thing you have to say about Elon Musk, he doesn't believe in going small. I think he's overlly optimisitc, but I really hope he does it.
