    Funny, since they hold one of the worlds most succesful degree programs in petroleum/fossil fuel engineering, training the same people that will work for these coal companies. If they truly wanted to prevent any environmental damage, they would also begin to close their school of energy resources engineering.

    In all honesty, I don't think that the HFT traders should be penalized for creating mathematical models to predict the market. When it comes to the bottom line, these are CS or Math PhDs who have the brains to figure out models for human nature , which blows my mind.

    The current environment in Washington has made it near impossible for large companies without lobbyists to survive without huge fines or product bans. Just take a look of the results when Apple sued Samsung for copyright infringement versus when Samsung sued Apple.

    BTRFS inode limitations once cause my system to go completely bonkers. I lost a huge amount of data due to a "limitation of space" when in reality it was an inode limit.

    They had a great BBC interview about this and they mentioned how the elephants could tell apart the Maasai and Kamba languages.
