Same here, though I'm leaning PS4 because Microsoft has been more troublesome than Sony recently, though MS hasn't done anything as bad as the Sony rootkit afaik. I'm waiting for a non-PC game that I feel the need to play before I buy either.

You're expected to already have a live account for downloading games and multi-player, so that's not an inconvenience for most people that actually use it as a game console. You should be using something like a Roku if you just wanted to stream Netflix or Hulu.

The propagandists at Fox are having trouble keeping their narrative on the ACA going when their upset guests just turn out to be clueless, and wind up happy when their fake-insurance is replaced with actual coverage with the help of people outside the ignorant conservative subculture.

True. The freakiest thing I saw when taking a look at SR was large amounts of cyanide from one vendor. I haven't heard about mass-poisonings, but making it that easy for a crazy to hurt a lot of people is very worrying. Other black-market sites I researched were worse, with guns available to anyone in addition to the poison and dangerous drugs.

It seems to me that we shouldn't be banning reasonably safe in-demand products because having products that mainstream people want only available though the black market, enables the terrible things that also go on there. A drug should have to be really destructive like Meth to be banned.

This "sharing media" is probably a transcoder on the PC that's streaming a reduced quality video to the PS3, rather than just sharing a directory on a file server. The transcode is what severely degrades the video and stopped me from using my 360 as a media player. It seems like it's just better to hook up a media/gaming PC to a large display / projector, rather than use a console for anything but console exclusive games.
