    Sorry. As an IT guy I routinely peruse people's harddrives looking for interesting material. I use Windows scripting host to search everyone's drives for mp3's wma'a avi's and mpg's.

    It isn't your laptop. You have noe freedom to do anything with it.

    The original assertion is true. Altavista the the default search engine around 97-99 or so. Google's becomming less and less usefull each day. Far too many of the results are dominated by spammers of one sort or another.

    How about the laptop plug recall, that was a friggen headache

    It was annoying, but not that bad.

    Small form factor optiplex that makes it cook itself.

    I haven't seen that one.

    They assemble a reliable machine and, as a company, are a dream to work with. If you are a company of reasonable size, ordering and support are prompt and hassle-free. I work for a large leasing company, and since technically it's our cash upfront, we own tens of thousands of Dell PC's and servers. You ought to see the free stuff we get around here.

    But seriously. The dupes are out of control. It takes 10 minutes a day, max, to scan the headlines OF THE SITE YOUR JOB IT IS TO EDIT. Timothy obviously does not read this site. So WTF? Could we possibly get an editor that takes his job seriously?

    Acutually the Constitution referrs to "persons" not citizens. Citizenship is mentioned in the requirements for holding office etc.

    In fact the word citizen doesn't appear at all in the Bill of Rights.

    Jose Padilla in not in Guantanamo:

    Neither is Yaser Hamdi:

    But when his American citizenship came to light, the government transported him from there to the brig at the Norfolk Naval Station.

    Neither were charged under the PATRIOT act.

    Does it bother you that you don't know what you are talking about?

    Is it so incomprehensible to you that in this world of 5 billion people that there may be a few hundred who are hell bent on inflicting as much violence as possible on innocent people.

    Japan had imprisoned a bunch of innocent US citizens

    If they were innocent, you're right, they'd be an outcry. If they were picked up in a foreign country fighting with the Japanese Red Army, most Americans would say good riddence.
