I guess if their research was correct, then people would be paying for something they didn't use.
They should have at least had a bundle with it. Here in australia you can only get a first party adapter if you send away to nintendo for it. Major PITA. I haven't bought my SP yet, but when I do I'll probably just settle for the thrustmaster 3rd party one.
I disagree. With all the beta's, delays etc that have been happening, I think that SW:G will only be released when it is genuinely ready. There will not be major initial flaws to ward off the people. My biggest issue will be how much a month will it cost me in Australia, because $25 AUS a month is too much, unless the game was free and comes with a couple of months free play. So after a year it worked out to be around $150. If it had me hooked still after a year, then I'd probably be happy to pay.
Where do you buy your games from. The only game that I have bought for my cube that I have paid full price for was Mortal Kombat. I buy a few games online here (dvdcrave.com) as they are reasonable cheap for all titles and have good specials. Other than that I wait for specials. I got the players choices games a couple of dollars cheaper as well from toys r us. Shop around a bit (and don't bother going to EB!)
Sega have already announced that they aren't continuing the sports releases on the cube. Don't blame them either, I bought NBA2K3 for my cube and I don't see what everyone is raving about. It isn't that special.
Multiple Gamecubes linked together is a great idea because I can find other people with Gamecubes but having to buy a Gamecube and a Gameboy Advance to play a game? Seems like a jump...
I guess unless you already own a GBA because you use it 5 days a week to pass the time it takes to get into work!
The screen 3rd from the bottom looks like the starting position of the original metroid... (Being playing it a bit since I got prime and finished fusion).
The new Gameboy Advance SP also has a backlight. Although the shaped has change so that it is vertical again - not to sure on this myself. It folds in half to give you a very neat package... I 'accidently' scratched my GBA screen so I guess I'll have to get a new one also... At least then I can get the stars for 2 player games in Game and Watch Gallery....
Call me old fashion but I want my phone to hold phone numbers and allow me to make calls. Nokia are release some game hybrid phone (N-Gauge?). It looks rubbish and I had a laugh when a Nokia spokesperson said that the it is a games machine first and that if you wanted to play multi player games he'd rather be playing poker with then than a non-multiplayer system. Me thinks I'd rather be playing Metroid Fusion on the train every morning on the way to work. Because when I am on a train in the morning, I don't have anyone there I want to talk to let alone play games with/against...

Interesting comment since they made those as well!

I hardly ever use my GBA without headphones...
The new Mario and Luigi gba game coming out looks innovative. You play as both characters and it's a co-operative effort.

yeah, my last order they shipped it next day at no charge to me. it was over $350 though.

Has anyone seen / know of the existance of an e-reader in Australia. I don't recall ever seeing one for sale.
I have most of the gallery cartridges though so this is not really a big deal.
But the gamecube is cheaper than the other 2 and includes a free game...

This is like beating a dead horse. The drivers are no where near as bad as what they have been in the past. Perhaps you should stop living there...
Who cares what the game is called. Isn't it all about the gameplay?
and tried Arcades as sideline
They will soon be releasing F-Zero for the Arcade and Gamecube. So I guess they still dabble in arcade games.
I have full-sized adult fingers
Hehe. me too! Except I have full sized adult fingers of someone that is 6'7"...
Same here. I'm 28 and have over 20 GBA games (some are my daugters) and about the same again for GameBoy (Color) ones.
I don't want PDA features in my gaming device though. I want more power.
Competition will be good but I can't wait to find out what nintendo have instore for us next...
I don't have an SP yet, not sure about the design as I have large fingers - might be a good option for my daughter though.
IBM is accusing SCO of trying to stifle Linux development through the use of the courts
I would say 5 years.
I don't think there is a memory card big enough to hold a linux distribution is there...
*flame away*

and what about resellers in Australia... Never could find Soldier of Fortune.
Has anyone hooked up the gameboy advance to the game cube? Can that be done yet?
No Windows NT/2000 or other OS support.
That's what yanks my chain. Surely they could have supported 2000 at least...
