Yeah, but they'll leave it until 2037 to try to fix it.

  2. I could see this coming... on QNX partnering w/Phase 5 to make PowerPC computer · · Score: 1

Phase 5 have never really been happy with AInc. Amiga blew them off by first announcing that the new AmigaOS would be PPC, then changing their minds, leaving Phase5's powerUp business rather dead in the water.

I believe that they haven't managed to get any guarantees about being able to manufacture NG Amiga hardware either, so I suppose this is logical for them.

They are rather burning their bridges with Amiga Inc, however.

And they are utterly notorious for product slippage.

And PPC accelerated Amigas as well. The port isn't as stable as the 68k one though (yet).

I dunno though, going on the number of times that the Enterprise has been taken over by people locking everyone else out of the computer system, I say that they *gotta* be running NT.

This doesn't really surprise me at all. When it comes down to it, there are no rules when it comes to 'national security'. Check out this link for more details of British surveillance operations. It's scary how much info they were collecting. http://jya.com/irish-war.htm

Can anyone point me to a decide 'for dummies' quide to QP on the Web? This stuff fascinates me, but I have only a rudimentary background in Physics, so I'd like to see the whole thing explained in 'layman's terms' (in as much as it is possible to explain it at all!!)

Yeah, it's spanking stuff. However, I heard the the EU is thinking of making taurine illegal, meaning that RB will cease to exist in its current form.

    Might not be true, though.
