I agree with keeping America safe, but when our safety starts to affect other countries-that is when I want to pull the emergency break and view it again. When we take our "security" to a fight in other countries that have not shown true force against us; we just look like non-thinking ruffians.

Most people I knew during the Clinton era didn't really care about the "extra sex", what they really cared about was the fact that he left the country during the war.

So when we do group project some people can't see the others. (I know save as jpeg and such but some people in the is class can't) Any how I love to export to PDF function-along with embeding the fonts! For this class I have not had a problem yet!
This guy pisses me off. After reading the article I can see he tried to get boss in trouble because he pissed him off. He claims that he could effectivly "supervise" his 6 subordinatesl well if he was with the company for so long how did he manage so far. And another thing, I'm sure his job discription doesn't include investigator. Even if you a Sys Admi you cant install software for your needs.

I have been thinking about doing the same, but when my eye-doctor(Sorry can't think of the correct term) told my a bit more in detail what is does, I decided that wearing glasses is just fine. The fact that the cornea gets cut in order to "shape" a better focal point scares the hell out of me. Any time you take something like that away you can't replace it. Another interesting thing he mentioned is that even if you get the surgery and get 20/20 or better, when you get around 50 your still going to need reading glass--it just human nature for our bodies to get a little rusty. But as mentioned before the surgery is great for people who have very bad vision, even if the correction leads to a weakened prescription.
Thankx for the clarification, this seems like a very hard place to be. So using the whole "a car is a PC analogy" MYSQL is the engine to a car, and PHP is the Steering wheel, dash board and ignition. So I can change the engine, but if I want to change a steering wheel or the dash I can't, but I can still change the engine? IS this right?
Why does this always come up? I in particular hate the extremists on both sides of the fence. Why must everything be GPL compatible? It is a rhetorical question. Think of licenses as governments. The whole idea, theory, religion of open source is great and commendable--but it does not work in all situations. Please do not bring the fight that if everyone would learn how to program under Linux the world would be colorful and full of pretty butterflies. That's just plain poopy. That is like telling 1 billion Chinese people that they have to learn English if they want to be successful.
In this great capitalistic government, I mean economy, when you go public with your company most of the big share holders want a constant money flow--and lots of it. Through some lawyers who are always in it for the money and you have a volatile situation. If the flow stops the investors will find other ways to get the money.

Slackware is one of the stable Distros that follow a set standard and doesn't try to make it's own-seeming to be a new breed. If you feel that you and your distro are far superior to Slackware then please don't install it! We don't need to try to live up to your standards.
