This is for people who don't think or pay someone else to do it for them. I mean any educated person should know that if you want the truth you look at many different sources. And given that any company would want to check all the viable sources before committing so much money..wait a minute...we are in America? A screw it just buy what popular.
Well Clinton lied-IN COURT. During the Jennifer Flowers deal Cliton lied when asked about Monkia, so Clinton was under oath. Bush and the rest of the government were not under oath when they made the claims.
Now what comes into my mind about this is who decides what a threat is?
The president that we have given so much power too? The congress that take two years to make a "home land security" policy?
I agree with keeping America safe, but when our safety starts to affect other countries-that is when I want to pull the emergency break and view it again. When we take our "security" to a fight in other countries that have not shown true force against us; we just look like non-thinking ruffians.
I did do anything hostile, I just responded to the fact that Red Hat is not the standard in the *world*. Most statistics are out to prove someone's point-not the truth. And I am most certainty relaxed, I just stated a simple point: I didn't attack anyone here just made a point. So as we both relax and enjoy some tea, we can get on with the real stuff in life.
Well I could post a whole line of comlaints and gripes, but they all have been said and debated, but what still is left is why in the heck should the congress give themselves a pay raise even when they get "contributions" from lobbiests to vote a certain way. With all the money given out congress shouldn't even use our tax money to pay themselves.
Krumholtz says that commercial software alone spurs economic growth and creates jobs.'
You mean after the success of free trade with off shoring there will be many jobs out side right? Glad to see Bill cares about the country more than he does his dinasty==I mean legacy==I mean share holders....ah darn....ssdjh349dg
(Besides which.. The idea of being 'nice' to a business is just ridiculous. It's a friggin' business venture, not a person! They're in it to make money. If they act 'nice' it's because they believe it's a good strategy to make money. I completely fail to see how that should inspire any loyalties from me.)
This is BS man/woman.
Any business out there is intended to make money or why the hell are they there? Even farmers are out there to make a buck so should we treat them the same? And being nice to customers is freaking Bus 101. Any how no matter if it's a Corp or Joe's strip joint; if they are nice why not treat them nice? I understand the whole capitalism thing but damn don't try to kill every business.
Obviously you must be thinking about a different bush! Our current presendent does not consider IT workers part of the working class, they are IT workers.
Watch President Bush school us on stupid things such as Sovereignty
Military members can be prosecuted under the UCMJ for adultery alone
True--but how many do you know actually got prosecuted for it? I'm sure the public doesn't even know what happens "sexually" during a deployment let alone a remote tour to say Korea. Most people I knew during the Clinton era didn't really care about the "extra sex", what they really cared about was the fact that he left the country during the war.
Right now I'm taking a DTP class and everyone else uses Publisher, 2000/2002/xp/2003. One big problem is that not all versions are compatible with each other. So when we do group project some people can't see the others. (I know save as jpeg and such but some people in the is class can't) Any how I love to export to PDF function-along with embeding the fonts! For this class I have not had a problem yet!
This guy pisses me off. After reading the article I can see he tried to get boss in trouble because he pissed him off. He claims that he could effectivly "supervise" his 6 subordinatesl well if he was with the company for so long how did he manage so far. And another thing, I'm sure his job discription doesn't include investigator. Even if you a Sys Admi you cant install software for your needs.
Would you be able to control what data really comes in and out? You know there are bodies out there just salivating at the opportunity to find out what you know--without you knowing they know what you know.
I have been thinking about doing the same, but when my eye-doctor(Sorry can't think of the correct term) told my a bit more in detail what is does, I decided that wearing glasses is just fine. The fact that the cornea gets cut in order to "shape" a better focal point scares the hell out of me. Any time you take something like that away you can't replace it. Another interesting thing he mentioned is that even if you get the surgery and get 20/20 or better, when you get around 50 your still going to need reading glass--it just human nature for our bodies to get a little rusty. But as mentioned before the surgery is great for people who have very bad vision, even if the correction leads to a weakened prescription.
Thankx for the clarification, this seems like a very hard place to be. So using the whole "a car is a PC analogy" MYSQL is the engine to a car, and PHP is the Steering wheel, dash board and ignition. So I can change the engine, but if I want to change a steering wheel or the dash I can't, but I can still change the engine? IS this right?
Why does this always come up? I in particular hate the extremists on both sides of the fence. Why must everything be GPL compatible? It is a rhetorical question. Think of licenses as governments. If every country where a democracy the world would be dull, corrupt, and would never get Jack or his friend to do anything for a decent price. The fact is we_need_veriety in our diet. The whole idea, theory, religion of open source is great and commendable--but it does not work in all situations. Please do not bring the fight that if everyone would learn how to program under Linux the world would be colorful and full of pretty butterflies. That's just plain poopy. That is like telling 1 billion Chinese people that they have to learn English if they want to be successful.
In this great capitalistic government, I mean economy, when you go public with your company most of the big share holders want a constant money flow--and lots of it. Through some lawyers who are always in it for the money and you have a volatile situation. If the flow stops the investors will find other ways to get the money.
You must be nutts or a cousin of it. To call Slackware a cousin of Gentoo is nutts. Also to say "Glad to see it's still chugging along" is down right disrespectful. Slackware is one of the stable Distros that follow a set standard and doesn't try to make it's own-seeming to be a new breed. If you feel that you and your distro are far superior to Slackware then please don't install it! We don't need to try to live up to your standards.

there wasn't a way to funnel the energy they create into the electoral process
Translation: Since the above mentioned groups (EFF and others) were not giving money to the congress people like lobbiests.

I believe that Red Hat is the most common distro
In America maybe, but not the rest of the world which includes Europe, Asia, and Africa.

the only draw back to AbiWord is that it currently does not feature a grammar checker
If a grammar checker is the staple of a decision for a word processor then we live in a sad state!

Worse you could get a twisted person like me the makes you randomly masturbate for three days.
Or worse I would hate to see when the you don't pay your anual subscription!
There has been lots of good info here!

Is that 1 Billion LEGAL users?
mostly due to overuse by the beloved administration and media schills
Yeah, kind of how the administration killed the word moral by using it with everything they say.
Don't believe that, there are still many stupid laws that have yet to be overturned.
