    Anyone else notice this? If humans were powered by humans, and their heat powered the machines, wouldn't you run out of calories in a jiffy? Humans don't run on solar or nuclear power. Well, I suppose the machines could be doing some sort of protein synthesis, but if they had the energy to do that why not skip the whole "power plant" thing?

    At first the story was supposed to be that the humans were used as a massive beowulf cluster of brains to increase the machine's intelligence. But it was 'dumbed-down' to the battery thing so that people wouldn't go 'wtf?'.

    IANAL, but I think all you need is a lawyer to prepare a good non-disclosure agreement for you. If they release the source, you can sue them for damages.

    If I recall correctly, current military satellites have a resolution of about 10 cm (~4 inches). Compare that to commercial satellite that have resolutions varying between 1 and 10 meters.. (Although one satellite can acheive a 66cm resolution)

    Yeah but you're going to have a hard time controlling the magnetic field if you use just natural magnets.. Whenever the craft accelerates, the containment field needs to be ajusted to compensate for the antimatter's inetia.

    You don't need the CD to run UT2K3. Just run the udebugger.exe executable instead of the ut2003.exe. (From what I hear there might be a slight hit in performance.. I didn't notice anything tho)
