If they're gonna charge by bandwidth they had better do a VERY good job filtering spam. Filtering spam correctly is impossible. It's like trying to figure out if something is junk mail just by feeling the envelope with your eyes closed. And how much bandwidth is 5,000 hits from Nimbda? It's "nimda", and it's already dead. If it's still alive somewhere, It's not using much bandwidth.
Clue: lzip is lossy compression =). And the lzip command is actually a picture of a monkey. (really. go download it.)

Let's say you have 2.5 gigabytes of mp3s. Most harddrives can write 30 megabytes per second when tweaked with hdparm: 2500 (megabytes)/30 (megabytes/s) = 83.33 (seconds)
