    Another point:

Developing black and white pictures in your closet (with proper ventilation of course :>) is significantly easier than developing color pictures.

The cost is less expensive, and the amount of light that is tolerable is alot less strict than with developing Color pictures.

I'm in a photography class right now in highschool, our darkroom is a B&W only room, our cameras are from 1960, but some of the shots that come out of that room are amazing.

  19. Re:highlander on Space-based Power Generation · · Score: 1

There is actually a very good reason for this.
They ran out of money near the end of the film, so they had to spew a movie out on the deadline.

    This was Highlander 2.

Now lateron, the director (William Panzer) made his directors cut, and that became: Highlander 2: Renegade Version.

It does not mention ziest, or them being aliens, although it does say they are beamed from a very long time ago (Think lost city of Atlantis) into the future because of their crimes.

"Highlander 2: Renegade Version" is a *Very* good movie, and I had the luck of buying it on DVD in the past few weeks. The first version of it was horrible, and it's really sad people judge the highlander series on that one bad movie.

  20. highlander on Space-based Power Generation · · Score: 1

They did something like this on highlander 2. They created an electromagnetic shield around the earth to protect it from UV rays.

Mind you that was a movie, but it had an interesting theroy behind it: beam energy down from the orbiting satillites to power a giant station.

Wonder why the bots from the Matrix never thought of doing this?
