If they are suck good developers, then why did they "borrow" TCP/IP code for Win(Insertrandomlettershere), instead of writing their own "great" code from their "talented" minds.
I know I'll get modded down for saying this but Face it, american coders can not compare to the world.
I too expirence this "X barfing", although not as much as I used to.
However-- when it does occur, how hard would it be to write a console program that would be able to check if X was frozen? I'm not sure which method you would use (I don't program for X), but that would be a *great* Idea. In addition, if X was frozen, the program would auto-magicaly restart X.
Anyone have insight of where I could begin?
Does a program already exist for this?
Would I be better off submiting this to Ask Slashdot?
Will batman escape the clutches of the joker?!
I rarly notice when X freezes, my TV still plays even though the hardware is locked up.

do they not have counter measures to protect against weak passwords?
mind you..typing in PASSWORD works fine, so does password.
apparently not even my box protects against crappy passwords, maybe I should beef up the alphanumeric occurances (and they should too.)

Come to Niagara Tactics when they're at the Fonthill location, we got the forest going, two quake style wooden fortress's, challanging games.
It's great, takes skill, and you feel like the predator with all the forest.
