And you are the reason that I will never play MMORPG's or any online game unless it is over a LAN with people I know. Why should I bother playing if you are going to cheat and wipe me out?
I have about 12 years of experience with computers (built networks, did admin on servers, was assistant network admin), but now, all of the employers want you to have a certificate that only shows that you know how to pass a test, I don't have the money to go back to school, so I'll find something else to do and save my computer and network knowledge for use at home.
I live in Utah and this is not surprising in the least. Even though the LDS chruch doesn't overtly run the state, everyone who is elected (most of the time) is LDS and so will do whatever the church wants.
I agree. Out of the all of the Star Trek things, I love New Frontier the best. Calhoun is a mixture of Kirk and Picard and would be a great character. But I doubt the two idiots (B&B) will ever want to do a series based on that...
My favorite scene was in the one in "Relics" where he went on the holodeck with the original Enterprise's bridge. While he was standing there looking around, he lifts his glass and says "Here's to you lads.."
I used to do the IT thing until I got laid off twice in one year from two different IT jobs. Now I am doing customer support (email with some live chat) and I am thinking about going back to school to learn to do something more hands on (like welding or being a machinist (sp?)). Why? Because, I have no desire to go back into IT (don't have an MCSE? Sorry, we don't want you!) Where I live, the employers who are looking for that want only Winblows experience and nothing else. It is not worth it for me.
You hit it right on the head Pomme (if I may call you Pomme). A college degree shows employers that you are dedicated. It also shows that you have learned some logic skills and can adapt to things that are thrown at you.
All the glorified tech school that is Northface will give you is how to "point and click" (generalization I know, but that's what it seems like to me).
A friend of mine sold me a Athlon 750. After I got it, I bought a MOBO off of eBay and when I got it, surprise! No clips to hook the chip too (the slot was there, just nothing to clip to). So I took some rubber bands, ran them through the holes on the MOBO and looped them around the chip package. And it works fine, never had any probs..

Jerk..
Since I need my money for other things (rent, food, car payment, etc..) guess I'll just live without the new TV.
If the feds really want me to have one of these TVs, then they can buy one for me.

I can't wait until I can move to an adult state..

Makes me want to cry thinking about it.

If you have seen "Finding Nemo", M$ reminds me of the seagulls...
"MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE"
