    Has anyone noticed that if you access internet through a proxy you just cannot create an account because the software doesn't allow proxy configuration at the registration mode, unlike a yahoo IM, for instance.

    I am not aware of any law like this. We have many people from US, Europe, etc., visit our company in Bangalore on work for various durations of time.

    Speaking about such discrimatory policies, have you heard of the recent policy of US which needs passengers who are transitting via any US airport need to obtain a transit visa! This comes with the discomfort of requiring to plan your visit atleast 6 weeks in advance and a possiblity of getting randomly rejected, not speaking about the huge cost which comes with it.

    So you installed a silly Linux distro on your way to work..duh?
    I work-out on the slightly modded-up rowing machine, give myself a sponge bath, change into fresh clothes, make myself a breakfast(the usual ham, bacon and eggs with the sunny-side up), every day while I drive myself to work.
    This is what you do when you commute to another country, everyday, for work.

    Let's assume one company becomes the M$ of cloning. Introducing a low-priced home cloning kit for the masses. The clones keep falling ill or worse die if not patched in time. And of-course the patches don't come cheap ;-)

    Last but not the least, the new release of Win2000 had around 64,000 "known" bugs, maybe in a few 100 thousand lines of code. Could anybody imagine the number of bugs in a few trillion lines of genetic code that the company will release their product with?
