    Really? Show me some numbers. ATI's drivers haven't always been the best. But I rarely had problems related to using them. I've used both nVidia and ATI cards for quite sometime. Roughly 30% is ridiculous.

    Well hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue later, I'd say Gates was spot on.

    I like Gates. I wouldn't necessarily think him to be the most ethical of business men but in business you win or you die. He plays to win.

    So use bittorrent. That's what all college students do anyway. It's amazing how much shit college kids I know download. Movies, music, software, pr0n, etc. 100Mbit connections make it nice to share locally too... I'm not sure what the backbone connection is but it was 13MB Frame 12-15 years ago when I was in college.

    Apple is notoriously difficult to work with. I love their products. I loved the Thinkpads as well. The PPC (G5) was an awesome processor IMO. Too bad it didn't work out. I think the Intel switch has worked well for Apple though. My new mini is crazy fast and cheap (for an Apple).

    If you signed a contract saying they own it and there is no state statute that says you cannot be forced to give away things done on your own time (like no-compete agreements generally aren't upheld), then you're out of luck. If you don't want to sign away your life to a company, simply don't sign the doc. If they won't hire you as a result, then move on.
