Your pipe isn't fat enough. I was doing an audit of GTE billing in the late 90's and was looking for some of the biggest bills. Sure enough Dreamworks had a very large bill for their pipes (something like 30 OC-3's or something). Pretty big for a non-telco related company.

Note: my memory isn't that good so if someone wants to shed some more detail I'd be interested in an update!

Yes, however your culture (and thus nationality) can affect this. Do you think women and men play games the same? My wife is doing studies right now in her PhD program that study specifically the differences in gender in intelligence tests. You can generally say men are better spacially and women are better verbally.

People are different and culture plays a part. For example since everyone must "learn to eat" from scratch I bet we all prepare our food the same. Oh wait, we don't. There are thousands of examples of this in society.

True, however a business is essentially a person (TaxID and all) without a conscience. As you can see from the last several years of business indictments people do things running a business that are extremely unethical and quite often illegal. When everything is done for the contributing businesses and nothing for the people (or consumers as business likes to say), we end up fucking each other for the almighty dollar.

Empathy and conscience are two things missing from politics and businesses, it's quite sad really.

The govt needs to do a better job of regulating personal data. I guess passing tax cuts for the wealthy is more important than protecting the privacy of individuals. Businesses get what they pay for, a system of government for the Business by the Business.

In a perfect world Intel would open-source their Centrino WiFi drivers. Until then I have to run Linux in VMWare on my IBM T41 Laptop. Sometimes you have to be happy with something instead of bitching about the fact that the drivers are closed source. I'd love to have closed source drivers for my 802.11g card. Beats the hell out of nothing.

I remember using Linux in the mid 90's and trying to program my dot clocks to work properly in my newish graphics card. Linux amazes me daily in how far it has come. Yet in the real world (run by businesses) you get what they decide to give you, not what you think they should do or what you think you deserve.

Their liquid value was almost $6/share and investors just freaked out.
