I use cash, contactless etc., whichever is best for what I am doing. I fail to understand this one size fits all mentality. It reminds me of when they introduced one size clothing that meant that it did not fit most people. How do you give your children pocket money in a cashless society? Am I really going to be expected to pay for a 10c item with a card? It is moronic.
If it was a new Chinese plane the US would ground all of them until we knew the reason. Yes, we do not know the reason so it is sensible to ground them until we do know rather than let people keep dying.
I would not use real data to open such an account. That does not make the account fake, just inaccurate. Calling it fake is just to add drama and justify their big brother demand for our personal data. I think you have got to be insane to publish all your personal data in the open for someone else to make profit from.
One of the things about ctrl-alt-del is that you are unlikely to press it accidentally (apart from issues mentioned). A single key would be a very serious mistake.
"block accounts that promote terrorism and violence" = Anyone who questions the party line. In the UK you can get arrested for researching Hamas. Hamas are a democratically elected government, being Hamas official can mean being a school headmaster. Hesbollah the same.
... for its crap security. This is not the first time that some mentally disabled idiot from abroad has been wandering around inside important systems. Last time it was 100% because the installation passwords were still in place. That is not hacking, it is incompetence. It is security that should be on trial not some idiot from abroad.
When Bush said that Saddam had WMDs and could use them to attack in 45 minutes he was fully aware that that was a lie. In various accounts defenders of countries that are attacked by the US are called terrorists when they are merely defending their country. This and loads more is fake news by the US government. The US creates the most fake news and does it to effect elections in other countries for example Ukraine. Most people in the US actually believe that Russia invaded Crimea when this was very clearly a lie. Ukraine is far worse now than it was before. I have been there many times and was there last week. It has suffered greatly from the coup that was driven by US lies. Do you even remember that girl that was hired to lie to congress to get the first Iraq war started? We now know 100% that that was a deliberate lie.
It is more than a little disingenuous that they list "the Linux kernel" and "OSX" as single items yet split Windows into separate versions to minimise its ranking. If you add the separate versions of Windows together as they have done with Linux and OSX, Windows goes off the scale.
And if you use any other anti virus it is an absolute certainty that the US government, which is a bigger criminal enterprise, has its fingers in that pie.
Of course they were offered that they would be left alone if they failed to recognise NSA spyware and viruses but the majority of their customers are their customers because they are the only one that does the job. Telegram got a similar offer.
Sorry, we do not like democracy. Syria was a good secular democracy with a leader that keeps getting over 90% of the vote, so we are busy trying to turn it into a terrorist run hell hole. Iraq was also a secular democracy so we destroyed it and turned it into a terrorist hell hole. Libya was a representative democracy that had a lot to teach the US but we destroyed it and turned it into a terrorist hell hole. I think these countries see a pattern and know that the US destroys democracies. Some stupid fat guy named his country the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and look where that is going. No, democracy gets you destroyed.
How is Iran a rogue nation? What right do we have to criticise them? A country that has not posed a threat to anyone wants the right to defend itself from those (including the US) that threaten it. Why shouldn't they? Instead going around threatening countries the one thing that would work far better would be an incentive to take a different path. The US has never tried that. The Iranians are not a poor people as you suggest and if you went there you would be shocked by how different it is to the propaganda on TV. Iraq was a major ally of ours in that area until out of the blue we destroyed a civilised country as thanks for helping us. We did not beat Iraq as they relied on us for their defence so in reality we beat ourselves. Yes, Iraq gassed Kurds with gas we supplied and using aircraft we were the ground crew for and knew the flight plans of. They attacked Iran for us several times with WMDs we gave them. So Iran has good reason to believe that we will do harm and that they do have good reason to do all they can to defend themselves and also that doing what the US is bullying them to do will not get a good result. Why should they, a long time enemy expect better than a long time ally? They have no reason whatsoever to roll over and every reason to develop whatever they can to defend themselves.
Nearly every country has a constitution, Russia is no different.

Kaspersky is in Russia and has a relationship with the FSB just as US security companies have a relationship with the NSA. I trust Kaspersky far more than I trust Microsoft etc. because they are far more open about their relationships and what they do. If they want to remain trusted the last thing they should do is move out of Russia.
"Your ignorance indicates that you're probably a russian shill."
His point is still more valid than your attempt at making this ad hominem.
How does one become a "shill"? Does it pay well? I would like to know because he does have a valid point even if he is ignorant of the structure of government bodies and if I could get paid for telling the truth I would be happy to do it.
I completely agree. I read this and think that I am now far more likely to use Kaspersky that I was before and I think many large businesses will think the same. The greatest cyber threats in recent years have come from the NSA, not Russia. There is a smear campaign under way and we are entering a new cold war that we may well lose. Europe have no intention of losing Russia as an ally because now they trade with them they see them as they are rather than as the propaganda paints them. This is not the 50s and the old style "Reds under the bed" propaganda does not work anymore. There is no evidence but of course they messed with our election just as we mess with their's. If they were better at it then learn from them and move on.
It is still censorship if you stop them from saying it. I do not support right wing nut jobs but I totally support free speech. Just as I am free to say that they are morons they are free to say all the moronic crap they like.
This is a very old idea. The flipped classroom is better but it does not do away with lectures, it just puts them on the inter/intranet so that they are pulled up as a resource when required. Group work actually helps students understand far more but the lectures become like books that you can refer to and listen to the parts that you want rather than being forced to wade through the whole things.
Yeah, fuck safety. No point in playing safe when there is a good profit to make.
They are totally safe when they do not fall out of the sky which only happens occasionally.
Russia did this a couple of years ago and it is great. No more confusion twice a year. Great to see the US following Russia's lead.

Is that a metric garden hose or an imperial garden hose?
Or we could relocate Spain?

Agreed, Let's Encrypt is better than the rest and free. How could anything be better?
... but not the rest of us.

The exchange he was using had already closed his account so that ransom payments could not be made.
