Right. The general rule of console emulation requires a ten-fold power increase. However, this power is used to compensate for the radical differences in the processors and chips on the boards. The XBox's architecture is so similar to a high-end PC that emulation will need little more than new device drivers, unencrypting the OS and a strong determination to fight M$.
The REAL proof that these are hoaxes is that they are still on the net. You seriously think M$ would let these be exposed to the net for more than a day? The day a functional emulator is released M$ is going to snuff it out quicker than UltraHLE did it themselves.
The show, albeit crazy, was so predictable after a certain amount of time and it became a pain to sit through it. Of course, who can sit through a first season's episode of the Simpsons now?
My bet is that AAC is a cheap rehash of Mp3, just like Sony's ATRAC, to avoid the Mp3 licensing fees. So basically loading the mp3s converts them to AACs or maybe just changes the extension.;-)
Why does Microsoft need to release a whole new version of the OS just to add Bluetooth? Palm is just going to patch it, no need to alienate the 2MB Palm users, but the 16 and 8MB PPC users won't get the full version of Merlin. How fair is that?
Hmm, I wonder what is going to happen for development between the Jornada and the iPAQ? Maybe the could force Compaq to get the damn device to have more than one input at a time!
Even on the Windows version on a P3 800 with 384MB of ram it has big trouble with large images (http://wendycomic.com) and I really do not like how it won't show any broken image placeholder when images don't loaded. Not to mention the fact that highlighting the mouse over an image doesn't show the tag or the horrible problems on data transfer on some sites like EZBoard(don't laugh, it's free). But I still use it because I am lost without gesturing and the blazing speed, maybe 5.13 will fix these little niggles, whilst keeping the speed.
Man... you would think some of you people understand the overseas world of video games.
The wonderswan is the brain child and swansong of Gunpei Yokoi, designer of Metroid, Kid Icarus, Game & Watch, the dubious Gameboy and Gameboy Pocket and the Virtual boy. Sadly, after the Virtual Boy he left NCL and went to Bandai to design a handheld called the WonderSwan. Featuring dual joypads serving a similar function as a Lynx's, but could also be additional buttons. It had 16 level grayscale, but held horizontal like a Game Gear. It also had PDA abilites with datebooks and calculators. The main reason it still survives in Japan is the fact their is a color version and it sports the handheld version of Final Fantasy with numerous improvements as background battlegraphics, save ANYWHERE, and the bonus game can be done to give a small amount of money upon completion. I can't recall on the status of the 2 and 3. Unfortunately, Bandai has no plans to bring it here, as Americans are much less prone to accept a new radical handheld device from any company other than the Big N. If you are wondering about the status of the illustrious designer, he passed away a few years ago in a car crash, but his innovation lives on.
I wonder if this time the game will actually be longer than the music soundtrack, unlike the Bouncer. One day Square will break through the RPG stereotype and relive the days when they could make ANYTHING else. Emotion Type-S, Ehrgeiz, Chocobo Racing and are all QUALITY games!(Sarcasm) They demonstrate their superior mastery of all genres and show true innovation. I am looking forward to Square's next game, which I am rabidly devouring, like a weak little fanboy unfamiliar with the concept of incredibly linear gameplay, prerendered cutscene crap and unbelieveably lame fight/attack scenes. I hate Square.
Correct me for some little stuff. But I was under the impression that all 3 were on a plane when Lara was age 12 in the Himalayas. It crashed, only Lara survived. Wasn't that the original story?

Tick: "What does your sofa turn into?"
Arthur: "A bed."
Tick: "It's a start!"

:-/ OOOPs! Sorry on my part, I spelled "there" wrong. A little anal retentiveness is in me.

Yeah, and with the plastic pizza cutters, you have a complete halloween costume for under $25!
