    The whole concept of drivers being inside the kernel suck.

    The kernel should be small and be completely seperate to most drivers, the drivers can have a common well defined strong long lived api so that they are not tied to X.X version.

    We should have linux kernel 2.x.x, and drivers should be in a seperate source tree.

    Wheres our object orientation? Out the window?

    Lets all of us programmers put in lots of delayms(3) loops in our code to make it run 3x slower on P4/RDRAM systems, thereby making them run as fast as celeron400s.

    That way if enough people do this, people will
    A) sell their P4s, buy amd
    B) buy amds before P4s.

    Hell, make a virus that does this, slowing down P4/RD systems only.

    if 100000 corporates/companies fire 30% of all staff, and fire 25 million people then the spending power of the country gets to drag down reducing GDP etc... then all the OLD people on pension funds will loose 1/2 their funds and starve.

    Who wins? All the execs, and managers already earning $200k+ with millions in options.

    Thats still a lame ass hacker interface, is it so hard to make a popup menu to select the reses, whenyou click RIGHT MOUSE button on the desktop?

    Its fucking trivial to code, and you dont have to cycle which is lame ass.

    JEez, even the mac does it better with its control strip, something like that needs to be DEFAULT, not a wierdo download from some .cc address that 404s 1/2 the time.

    LEARN to design, as well as code.

    WIn2k as my desktop, and linux as my 'router' hack box, irc box.

    ANother linux box at work as a server
    another linux-ppc box on an older mac
    Win98/Linux (redhat6.2) on my Laptop

    each print costs $5000, you cant print 15000 prints, because its costly, the first 3000 go to usa, then after 4 weeks, 1500 go to europe/au, and they get moved around.

    Unless they go 100% digital or reduce celuloid printing, releases will always be delayed
