    Without the Constitution, the US government has no authority.

    No. Getting seriously hurt in an airplane explosion then falling to your death might be worse than getting seriously hurt in a ground explosion and maybe surviving.

    We don't get to find out as long as foreign airlines are kept out of the market.

    Funny how the US likes to keep foreign competition out of its markets in most industries, but hates protectionism everywhere else.

    I experienced the dual-boarding system on Turkish Airlines flights. It was more than double the speed -- about 10 times faster than loading from the front only. Amazing.

    How does this bill jeopardize the security of any citizens? Is he serious?

    Secrecy in his administration is a more serious threat to the citizens. Why doesn't his administration reveal its e-mail, telephone, and written communications to the people? Executive branch secrecy jeopardizes our security.

    Why can't we have an open government? We pay the bills. Or stop using our taxes to pay for the executive branch.

    Look at your shirts. Many are made in Egypt, Pakistan, the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Hungary.

    My jackets come from Honduras and Taiwan.

    My shoes come from Italy, Vietnam, and the US.

    Not everything is made in China, you know?

    I was kicked off the jury on a DUI trial because I actually know how the DataMaster BAC tester works, and that there is a large margin of error that prosecutors don't want you to know about -- even though every measurement device has some imprecision and inaccuracy.

    At least two other jurors already thought the defendant was guilty if the police and prosecutor said so. And they served on the jury.

    If you mean the westernmost part of the Pacific Northwest, that's true. But inland, across the mountains, the Pacific Northwest is very dry, with some parts seeing less than seven inches of rain per year.

    That, and a lot of its employees wouldn't want to live in Nevada. There is a reason Nevada has a small population.

    They've already moved much of their R&D out of Redmond and up into BC because the US wouldn't let them have as many H1-Bs as they wanted.

    You are misinformed. There is very little R&D done in British Columbia. The great majority of MS R&D is still done in the Seattle area, and (secondly) in the Bay Area.

    The hijacker has already demonstrated his willingness to kill the baby (you don't break a baby's fingers without being willing to break any part of it you need to), and thereby his willingness to kill everyone else.

    Breaking a baby's finger is not the same as killing a baby. That is quite a leap of logic.

    Just because I break your leg in a fight does not mean I would break any other part of your body or kill you. It is a non-lethal injury (for non-hypocondriacs, at least). It was not intended to kill you, and it won't -- unless you are a pussy.
