I am looking to replace my roomate's ailing ZTE Axom . How well does the Nokia 2 run mission critical apps like facebook and messenger, plenty of fish, wattpad, amazon kindle. craigs list , aol and simple games like "cut the rope" ? Its that 1gb that worries me.
I am afraid it sound like you have been thinking critically ago. Further that kind of proactive can do disruptive thinking clearly shows a lack of team sprit. We should have a meeting about this
I can hear it now. Its a panicked call, from an air port. "Hello, my phone died. I was entering my pin and my phone went blank". "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I ERASED IT????? GET IT BACK". "I don't care about the security, my cards, travel itinerary EVERYTHING is gone".
Go ahead. Put politics aside and just imagine it. Its you Granddad or Sales manager. Oh god I need a drink now.
I was reading the documents and went to download the software to read the polygraph results when I got "your ip has been logged... software for..." and I had left my referrer field on! Guess im now a registered dissident. oopsies!
Here is a list of truly unpopular (almost hated) languages that I know folks make over us$150,000 using:
- Delphi / pascal (automotive, process control, chemical ) - Forth (embedded) - Basic (a large array of strange niches from chemical processing , manufacturing assembly lines, scientific etc ) - visual basic 6 ( chemical and scientific ) - Lisp (autocad scripting , embeded and graphics processing/simulation creation ) - Q&A database aka Sesame database (seriously I have no idea who uses this but I keep coming across jobs for this)
none of the languages are seen on open forums like monster or dice but rather are direct hire, strange recruiter spam and consultant gigs from the niche language mailing lists.
I recently had to move from the kindle for reasons most folks do not share. I settled on the Kobo Aura HD (better font support, more detailed screen, built in support for dyslexie font). then I found I could load a android 2.3 os onto the card. Its not perfect. Its GoodEnough(tm) Want kindle content? Kindle android loads right up! Its got a Infrared based touch input that is surprisingly good for pen use, but its cpu is rather slow.
Its got its faults of course but I cant afford a real android based tablet like the Tornio or Onyx. You want to look into those options but be ready for sticker shock - Amazon heavily subsidizes the kindle liek kobo subsidizes the Aura line.
I was looking for Kindle alternatives the other day and ran across across this vlog about best e-ink devices of 2013. of note for you may be the Icarus and sony large format e-ink readers.
the vlog authors at http://www.youtube.com/user/go... have their own store. You may want to look into the (rather expensive) sony and icarus pen enabled devices.
As far as kindle goes, if you root the kindle you can access Cool Reader and other tools that may do what you want.
I would also suggest looking into Calibre and its ecosystem of plugins.
Bricklaying,Steel working etc are all "Well Understood". There are well understood, fixed, unwavering rules on how it is done. there is big branch of engineering, "trade craft", and its associated math(s) that describes this VERY precisely. Only new materials change those rules. There is no such level of understanding for Computer software. We could debate if certain functional languages COULD reach this level of sophistication, but that debate simply does not apply to most programming work. Even now we don't even have reliable code checking tools that are 100% accurate. Feel free to expound on the argument but at its base you simply cant compare the two disciplines.
Others have mentioned the need to cover your assets I suggest doing so then consider what useful options you have. Please don't use the below list until your exposure is minimized by documentation and strategic copies showing your knew and reported the problem. Cover your assets !
1) Your skill-set is very valuable, if you don't want or care for a messy fight engage a recruiter and start a job search. Use the exit interview to vent. Feel free to take your favorite coworkers with you -done carefully no one need know you pouched them. IF they like you possess ethics and morals your company may thank you for removing such troublemakers! 2) If you want to make this right, prepare your documentation. Call your internal ethics hotline. Pitch this as serious risk the company faces. Upfront cost vs a very embarrassing civil or criminal investigation. If the ethics line fails you consider locating a Board chairman - someone with enough stock in the game to have the power to protect you, then prepare a overview of your concerns and meet with them. Done with respect and discretion you may not only survive but flourish . But the key is to stay inside the corporate process. 2a) Take a subset of your concerns - the most likely items to be exploited and take those issues , prioritize their cost to implement vs amount of vulnerabilities it will close. The easiest to code that has the highest impact should be number 1, etc. 3) Accept the harsh lesson - security does not matter in most cases. never has, never will. Too much security increases costs, reduces flexibility, makes deadlines slip.
I've ignored nuclear options - ratting your company out never ever ends well. Witnesses, whistle blowers have little protections and the world is awash in talented Senior Architects working at tech support firms for us$30k per year.
Im Disabled and have never driven. your vision is mine. To me I am eying driver-less cars, once they are ready, with joyous abandon I can barely contain.
Now what was my cars r00t password again? Or am I stuck with Windows Touch for vehicles 2024 Bob edition? I do not mind running it in vbox it's gui is better then kde plasma roadside any how:>
wow that is a favorable billing structure for google computer! however the issue Im trying to raise is int he aup https://developers.google.com/cloud/terms/aup in which a number of things like running website mirrors, providing viruses, etc are violate the rules and may be met with automatic shutdown of one or more instances or possible accoutn suspension. While Google compute may view a ddos emanating from a student's use of a vm more favorably then amazon etc it still is question the op needs to factor into their considerations of hosted vm solutions. Once it's planed for (expect the best, plan for the worst!) and discussed during the planning and purchasing phase then I would say the provider is a keeper:>
This is a very good suggestion! However as soemone who has looked into this technology, there are a few pitfalls to be aware of.
The tos can be easily violated closing down the whole school or installation or incurring extra bandwidth costs if someone breaches the cloud providers tos by loading viruses, opening a file drop or distribution drop site, proxy, game server or such. You can also risk these events if you plan to demonstrate programming methods that could have a bug that suddenly consumes excess bandwidth or someone interacts, by accident with the vm host causing a crash.
Since you are dealing with kids who test boundaries as a group --someone is bound to do something far more clever then you plan for. Get your plan ready to respond to such events before they occur if you go the cloud route make certain that one bad apple cant incur extra costs or cause a site wide outage. So talk to the cloud provider and find out how and when your site can incur extra costs or violate the tos due to student behavior.
In my experience, vmware trumps vbox in twos critical areas: backups and portability. you can take the directory with your vms and literally drop them into into another os with very little if any changes (the only changes may be to sound card name and shared folders paths).
You cant do that with vbox. If you change os, or try try to move vms without special and often long running and obscure seeming preparations and your vbox wont run ever again and often even if you succeed youll loose all the snapshots and still ahve to edit the vm before it's can be used.
To me that ease of backup and portability is well worth the price of vmware if you can afford it. otherwise vbox is great but be prepared for an unreasonable amount of pain when you want to switch from windows to linux (and/or back), move the vms to another system / os and more pain on restoration then is reasonable.
First, DO NOT delete your temp files. There is a varient that not only hides various files (by setting the hidden attribute) but moves the shortcuts to %temp%\smtmp (a hidden directory) . It also reorders the icons.
to be honest the story of the good doctor spans nearly 40 years of social mores, acting and special effects constrictions. I'ld say grab the first of the new stuff and watch a few. then watch some torchwoods and perhaps some sara jane. then mix and match some of the older stuff. it's VERY well done but each doctor reprints their own time's belief about how much science is shown vs cleverness or violence. I would suggest you not follow a formula until you've watched a few and decided which stories interest you the most or you may become overwhelmed and thus numb to the simple joys of the dear doctor's hacking the cosmos. Once you've partaken such simple joys then consider a list or mandated watching order, the stuff is so good that it can be watched again several times.
The big issue is that if you "Trust" an application before the change, the application is grandfathered in -- it's granted this access without your knowledge. I cant yet tell if an application can increase it's trust level (after this change) or not.
um, like, duh. Or said another way, the various covert agencies would be criminally negligent not to be indexing and using social media as resources. The only real question is weather or not they can non public face book data and being a tad paranoid I assume they can.

but all I feel is sadly unsurprised. After a while some people just cant live up to your expectations or their own.

So, Now that BoA knows the truth, we can pen test the meta system and hack the world!! Certified ethical wizard will be a new job title!

IF I'm Virtual, what language am I? What os? Pray tell that I'm not a visual basic program running on windows. But then that would explain allot!

I happen to be in the market for an online AA, can you send me the link for wgu admission? NB: your email is hidden so I cant pm you :>

would you please stop it with the pragmatism? Star trek has never been about what is real :>
