    "DTS is better than DD"

Opinion, not fact. A well encoded DD track will blast away a DTS track. It ALL depends upon the encoding process. A blanket one is better than the other is so far from the truth. Tech specs it might be, but in real life application neither one is always better than the other.

And yes I do expect the average customer when shopping for an item that runs 300, 400, or more normally to realize that its too good to be true when the price is so low that its crazy.

The people that bought it knew very well that it was too good to be true and when it turned out that it was they bitch about it. Everyone wants a free ride (or close to it) and when they realize that they actually have to pay for something they complain and call it not fair.

This is not bait and switch. Everytime someone gets "screwed" by a company it is not bait and switch. This is just them saying that the deal is no more and never should have been.

They are stating that if you don't like it, return it. They aren't advertising a lower priced item and then when you call try and sell you a higher priced one. They are telling you flat out what it doesn't include. What happened previously was a pricing mistake yet people still feel they are being screwed when they aren't. Its just a bunch of cheap-ass fatwallet people who feel that if they have to pay more than $5 for it then they should sue the company.

LCoS doesn't have any burn-in problems. There was talk awhile ago about a type of "memory" problem that would fade but it wasn't a permanent burn in. I don't know if that was just a software problem or a hardware problem or if it even exists anymore.

The biggest problem with the big tv's is burn in. That is permanent. Viewing angle is not that big of a deal these days. Accurate colors and dark blacks is a problem, but that can be solved by getting the box calibrated correctly.

Actually they do. The same as people get up and say they hate microsoft or any other big company. They'll hear about a few folks or even a thousand folks having a problem with a device that sold 10s of millions and assume that it is a defect in the overall device instead of just bad luck in getting a broken one. I've had one since launch also and have had zero problems.

People complain much louder than they praise, its just how it works. No one logs online and says they are having zero problems with a device because they are too busy using it. But as soon as one thing breaks people will log in and be the most vocal group you have ever seen. Even if their numbers are an extremely small percentage of the total ownership.

You shouldn't ignore completely peoples complaints but you should take their complaints with an extremely small grain of sand.
