  1. This article describes the secondary env impact on How Streaming Music Could Be Harming the Planet (bbc.com) · · Score: 1

and not the first which is the production machinery, usage of heat energy, C02 emissions from using the machines needed to harness the metals as well as their gas vapors. The article does not account for battery production, recycling energy and so on used to play music from the mass produced devices all to hear the sound of a mutated monkey scream and banging metallic drums (actually, how much energy is needed to produce drumsticks, vocoders, tuba, etc, and mastering equipment?) being propelled through the air. Our planet thanks us kindly.

  2. Where would the settlement monty go? on Facebook Settlement With FTC Could Run Into the Billions (nytimes.com) · · Score: 1

Probably not rightfully back to the people who were violated. Most likely into the government so they can squander it with corrupt politicians and corporations as usual, right?

  3. More greed hurts everyone on Amazon Will Pay $0 in Federal Taxes on $11.2 Billion Profits (fortune.com) · · Score: 1

Amazon should really just subsidies the nearby housing area so people are not outpriced from their homes. Amazon can afford this motif easily. It will bring them a better reputation for investors and local business and would still bring them the same amount of jobs.

  4. I still have my original PS2 Fat model and it works. I knew a few people who had lasers stop working and some minor issues but overall they seem reliable.
Nintendo stopped repairing the Famicom only because they were running out of parts, so I wonder if this is part of the issue as well as service hours and Sony no longer wanting to pay repairmen and for new parts,
mostly the console is just no longer supported. A lot of amazing games were on the PS2 and PS1 was still pretty popular.

  5. Was worth it with a few minor setbacks I won't on Star Wars Pulls In $1 Billion At Record Speed (reuters.com) · · Score: 1

    disclose due to spoilers.

There were a few things that didn't make sense such as the lightsaber in Bespin and how that can't be explained... I might be giving too much away already.

There were a few emotional scenes and I almost cried even when I went with other people to see it I was still a little embarrassed.

I think anyone should see it, provided they watched all the previous installments, or at least A New Hope, Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back.

  6. That must be some national treasure on Nicolas Cage To Return Rare Stolen Dinosaur Skull To Mongolia (nytimes.com) · · Score: 1

I ruined the joke already, but it was fun.
Does Nicolas Cage collect rediculously rare videogames? Because I have tons.

  7. And what about his mansion... on British Court Rejects Donald Trump's Attempt To Block Wind Farm (nytimes.com) · · Score: 1

I'm sure he'll be rigging up the place with holiday lights as far as the eye can see. Arrogance is ignorance, much?

  8. Just thinking how many of these people actually go out and vote. Pretty scary.

Hypocrisy is not going away as long as there are politicians, much less from anyone under pressure but he is still the least hostile towards civil liberties than any of the other candidates.

Hilary is just going to continue the problems Obama started. Donald trump is going to give to big business and screw the average worker and one of those two are the most likely to be elected.

This is unfortunate news. I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed for the new Star Wars. We will see.

  18. Welp on Senate Passes USA Freedom Act · · Score: 2

Rand Paul seems like the best option. Too bad the presidential race is an American Idol contest.

This is why it needs to be mandatory for all congress people who vote for 'insert bill', how much money was donated by who/what causes... there to be publicly displayed... oh wait there will never be a law for that because it conflicts with their interests.

I still have all of my original games including the rarest of the lot! Tetris 1.0, Pokonyan and others. The most depressing thing about the Game Boy is that nobody really did anything that they could have with the Super Game Boy.

Hello, as an avid videogame romhacker who digs your tunes considerably, I have a question; well, two actually. The Faceball 2000 Theme has a reference to the Seaseme Street melody that you also composed for the NES, was that an intentional reference to the former? Did you find working with the SPC700 challenging?
