Thats why lots of places lock up thier SSN paperwork and so on, and dont give out information to anyone. You abviously dont know a great deal about security, Their are a great deal of SSH clients out their for windows taht are free, Putty is one, OpenSSH, and a variety of others. Most (modern) unices include SSH deamons and clients as well, they just need to be enabled. If your running Windows, you need to install Telent explicetly, and you could(almost as easily) install SSH onto an NTor XP machine(not really sure why you would want too, but anyways)

Adobe didn't stop to think about the possibility that blind people wouldn't be able to use their product, and the law says that nobody else can correct their mistake with an add-on. That's idiotic, and it's good to point out how stupid it is.

I personally think you are a little wrong there, I think Adobe very well knows that blind people will want to use E-books for text-to-speech, and know that publishing companies will charge more for books with this option enabled, and hence, Adobe will get more royalties. THis is why I will never purchase an Adobe Product (at this time, it means nothing, but maybe later ;->)

Yes tapes wear over time, but 1 scratch can totaly disable a DVD.....have you ever hear of "drive it like a rental"? I was really disapointed that the DVD-CCA did not include a protective cover(like DVD-RAM) on each disk, but this helps them sell more, now doesnt it?

it really depends on how you define patriotism. When I lived in the US, sometimes the attitude that the US is the center of the Universe and the 'we are the only place that matters in the world' really sickened me and very often that is how we here in Canada define patriotism.

Ofcourse we do, we are one of the most powerfull nations in the world, and we are a bunch of arrogant, egotistical, religios, and uniformed groups of people with increadble technology. However, I personally dont think that candains are less patriotic or in-your-face than americans, I get to see it every holiday personally. And dont get me started about the french......
