    3ware 6410 w/ 4x WD 120GB JB Drives.
    Have had issues w/ cabling in the past, lost one array on this controller, learned to keep an eye on the managment software, even if it says it doesn't work w/ your Distro (slackware); Make it work! Has been working fine since I replaced IDE cables.

    206mhz strong arm 128MB ram 32MB flash looks doable, sure would beat winCE.net But might be price prohibitive.

    I managed to find a Dell Latitude LX (486DX/100 16MB 512) for $20. Battery is dead but on old laptops one can replace the cells. It pays to ask arround!

    I'm still running 2 dual PIIs, they are great. But Intel missmarkets there RAM speed, PC3200 @ 4 bits wide bus I belive. vs. PC133 @ 64 bits wide (on my Asus A7Pro) 12800 vs. 8512 for non DDR. Hmm which is faster now? After all the trouble I had supporting i810's and i815's I'll never get a i8xx chipset with the possable execption of the i840. The KT133 and my XP1500 work fine together @1Ghz. Intel has shot them selves in the foot with there new hub arch. The THG video showed that P4's are great, small form factor and throttelling, for a Palm.

    Since planes are powered by buring stuff, given the weight of the plane is less with H2 fuel. Then you would need to carry less energy on a hydrogen fueled plane the a conventional one. It would have less distructive potential, just DON'T run wires through the fuel tank, and test the crygenic hydrogen stirrer moters first (not another Apollo 13).

    physical process tend to go in the direction that increases the total ammount of entropy(disorder) in the closed system
    This "battery" would not cool down the area surrounding if because heat is a very high entopy energy type as opposed to electical energy which is very ordered. A device can create electrical current from heat but to do this it must transfer some heat to a cooler location (heat sink). Look at a steam engine, yes it does turn heat in to physical energy (which could inturn be converted to electrical energy) but it does this by increasing the entropy of the heat, from a high T in a small volume (firebox) to a lower lower T in a much higher volume ("Smoke stack"). These "Batteries" would work fine on the surface of the body, look at an avarage situation: Body T = 98.6 F room T = 68 F (not the server closet) delta T = 30.6 F . Would NOT work inside the body where delta T is 1 F

    Any heat engine needs a place to sink the extra heat. The energy comes from the transfer of heat, in the direction that increases the entropy of the system. Otherwise it it propetual motion. delta T inside the body is low, maybe if they attached a large heatsink to your chest it could work. If I'm wrong, I'll just use one to power my Athlon :)

    One could set up an account with a script that would auto mirror the site when it recived an email. I'm sure someone here could set that up. The script could then respond once/if it successfully mirrored the site and those links could be posted in the story

    I just got one of there cards. But I was going to use it for console anyways. Too bad though It seems that the only choices are Nvidia and ATI and once one or the other goes under quality will suffer.
