Yup, same here, although very subtly. Sudden noises cause the impression of a brief flash of light, and hilariously, bright light makes it harder for me to hear things. XD
Kind of a poor example, because the cop would never be the one in control of the data on the bodycam. Also, different rules would apply since he was acting in his role as an agent of the State.
It's called "Dark Matter" because its behaviour is identical to that of matter that doesn't interact electromagnetically; specifically 'cold' (low velocity) matter. It clumps like matter, it has a gravitational field that bends light like matter, and it seems to move like matter. It might very well NOT be matter, because the scientific method is all about being wrong; but so far Lambda-CDM is the best-fit theory.
In 2014 (most recent year I found numbers for) before income taxes they made ~$413 million in profit (revenue, obviously, was much much higher). After tax it was ~$247 million. So the total fines work out to be on the order of 12-20% of their yearly profits.
No lawyers involved; everyone is self-representing. But with the plaintiff and the defendant being on the same side, who's going to out them for perjury?
Everyone is at their own personal center of the observable universe; no matter where you go, the CMB will always be the same distance from you in all directions. Alternatively, everywhere is the center of the universe, because it all was the same place at the very start.
You do realize that the police have pretty wide legal immunity in carrying out their duties, right? They literally can't be punished directly for obtaining evidence illegally, the evidence can only be disallowed.
If you're too drunk to see the One Way sign, you probably shouldn't be driving.
How is it not up to the people who work there? One guy does not a union make.
"One time closer" would be hitting the Earth... I dunno what to do with the other five times...

You could try finding some actually-credible sources...

Pretty sure that 'compelled writing' is still 'compelled speech'. XD

... that people who practice a thing and get rewarded for it get better at that thing and do it more often? How bizarre!
"Compelling identification" seems like a bit of a red herring; since when are you legally required to identify yourself to your own phone?
Honestly I'd rather they simply make vaccination mandatory (barring medical reasons) and save themselves all the 'free speech' brouhaha.

THAT is literature. Everything else is plebeian trash, because it isn't what they were taught.
They should simply rescind the patent as punishment for stiffing the government.
Isn't the page you're linking to also copyrighted, thus making linking to it a violation?
My (incredibly limited) understanding is that that's an artifact of using non-inertial coordinates, but the math gets kinda heavy for me. XD

Bits of the universe outside of causal contact with ours effectively don't exist.
Well yes, it's unique, but it isn't particularly special. Physics works exactly the same whether you're in the CMB frame or not.
"Why are they drinking so much?" Though I imagine this is more honestly about liability than any concern for the students.
Because you don't pay enough to buy the laws you want.
It doesn't sound like they're getting played by the intelligence agencies AT ALL.

What's stopping the police from getting certs?
