No nightmare. From my standpoint it would make my life as an admin easier.
Employee: "Hey. I lost this email from so and so a while back" Me: "Oooooo... Ya. Sorry about that. We don't back your email up. We only backup company data."
Employee: "Hey. I keep getting spam." Me: "Sounds like a personal problem to me. It's your email. Fix it."
They weren't bonuses - they were retention contracts. AIG didn't want everyone to jump ship so they offered retention contracts to key people. It's a VERY normal thing to do. The dollar amount may have been crazy - but they were NOT bonuses.

A friend of mine had a physics exam in college and the prof told the class that anything they could fit on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper could be used on the test. Come test day everyone had their "cheat sheets" out on their desk. My friend came into class with a physics phd he knew, put the piece of paper down next to his desk and had the phd stand on it. He aced the test.
My brothers last trip to Africa landed him malaria. He was prescribed immunization pills before hand, but stopped taking them because they made him sick.
If he had finished his presctiption he probably wouldn't be stuck with malaria for the rest of his life.
The plant did not change itself to become immune to the effects of round-up. The strong plants survived and the week plants died. The same thing happens with humans and disease. People with strong immune systems live and ones with weak immune systems die.
Most ID people will argue this fact. Evolution (in the sense that organisms change/adapt) is as much a theory (or religeon) as ID. Niether has been observed.
Constitutionally I have the right to bear (sp?) arms. This means that legally, I can carry a loaded weapon in plain site. It is a felony to carry a loaded weapon concealed. Concealment is defined differently in different states. In MI a loaded weapon in the vehicle is concidered concealed. In Texas it may not be concidered concealed.
The law is fuzzy on the fact of concealment. Technically I can carry in plain site, but believe me, that won't go over well. And while carrying with my CCW it must be concealed at all times, otherwise it can be construed as brandishing (not good).
I live in Michigan and have a concealed carry permit. While taking the training course for the permit we were told that sometimes your concealed weapon could set off in store alarms.
I always wondered what would happen if they asked me if I was hiding and I lifted my shirt to reveal my.357
Legally my weapon must stay concealed, but if they really want to know...

more than likely yes.... but I see McCain as the less sucky choice.
McCain FTW

If Sprint hits its goal of blanketing metropolitan areas with WiMAX in a timely fashion and prices the service attractively ,......
Not a chance of it being priced attractively if Sprint is involved

e107 indeed. Aside from looking great and having lots of plugins it has a great admin side that is clean and easy to use but still powerful.
You could run the sight with a couple of admins and everyone else could submit pictures etc as news items.

Did you just call five acres a farm? Hah! What city did you grow up in?

Good to hear. Sounds like your friend handles himself quite well under pressure.
Would have loved to seen the faces of the Best Buy employees.

Relying on a cellphone as your 'main' communication device is stupid. A cellphone is nothing but a glorified walkie-talkie.
My cellphone is a walky-talkie and I pay for the feature. It's called Nextel Direct Connect.
Except you'll look like a total idiot for carrying around AOL.
As soon as someone tells me they use AOL I stop listening.
One strong gust of wind and the earth could start spinning the other way.
Well, at least we'd be moving back in time so we'd be able to fix it.
Ya, well try to stop me from stealing the neighbors wireless.
