FoxPro (and the other xBase languages) were never standardized to a great extent. They were all more-or-less compatible with various versions of Ashton-Tate's dBase, but that's where it stopped. All had their own extensions. That said, I was disappointed when MS eventually stopped developing VFP. While the language has bad parts, it also has its good points, and my company uses it to this day, though I prefer doing my development in Python as much as possible.
You know the days when moving the cursor meant using the keyboard not that wussy easy reference called the arrow keys.
To this day I sometimes lapse into C-p/C-n/C-F/C-b (cursor up,down, right, left) when using emacs, just to avoid moving my hand over to the arrow keys. I use C-a/C-e/M-</M-> all the time, too. I do this in both emacs (my 'light, fast' editor of choice for quickly editing text) and WingIDE using emacs keybindings.
Try here and here for your keyboard needs. I've bought new keyboards from pckeyboard; they don't feel exactly like an old Model M, but they're in the same ballpark.
And there's no need for all this fuss, anyway. If people weren't educated stupid evil, Time Cube's 4 simultaneous days per 24 hour rotation would save them from dumb evil stupid Word EULA.
10000 years is a bit too far off. One study I've heard states that by the year 6565, you'll need neither a husband nor a wife - you'll just pick your son (and your daughter, too) from the bottom of a long, glass tube.
Yeah. I have a personal policy to never set foot in a venue which is named after a damned car/phone/whatever company, but I broke that policy last Friday to see Rush start off their current tour.
Yeah. I installed ESIX (Everex's version of Unix) off of floppies, some time in 1991 or 1992. I think there were 48 disks, or some horrible number like that, and naturally the 45th or so was unreadable. I had to wait to finish the install for a couple of days until I could get another copy of that disk mailed to me. Oddly, I can't remember now whether they were 3.5" or 5.25" floppies.
All aliterates are annoying ape-arse aficionados.
I'll believe it when I hear the late-breaking news from the Council.
Proponents of the pizza model are obviously EDUCATED EVIL STUPID.
do they have access to the source code for the entire toolchain?
For the benefit of those who don't know why this is important, this is a good explanation.

Eating magnets? What's the attraction in that?

Both are full of poisons. If you're going to consume psychoactive compounds, at least find a way to do it safely.
Safely, and in a way that doesn't affect passers-by.

"Freaks and Geeks" had big problems with this, too. They used a lot of well-known music and apparently paid dearly lot for it.
Fun but irrelevant fact: the high school and the town in the show were fictional, but located right about where I was going to school in 1980.
The important question that nobody is asking is: How does Windows 8 fare when used by sexually immature beluga whales?
Force them to fight in Video Games until they're derezzed.

Resistance is futile. You will be Appsimilated.
Year ago, the cat was sitting on the table, licking his genitals.
Friend 1: "God, I wish I could do that."
Friend 2: "Maybe you should start by scratching behind his ears and see where it goes..."

Forget wheeled vehicles, I want one of these!
Why? It'll be gone when the morning comes.

I'd wonder if anybody would buy Holy Gatorade on eBay
