The regulations that help those with disabilities, I am afraid, can and most likely will in the US, take away the chances of this market ever taking off. As the parent of this comment has stated about the Wright Bros., the government could have shut the whole industry down before it even started. Obviously, the laws that are designed to protect people from themselves can stifle innovation and progress to the detriment of society.
There is no way that an infantry soldier will wear one of these. It is not uncommon for a pack to be loaded with over 100lb of gear and you still have to march double-time. This thing, as it is designed won't go that fast. However, if you view this thing as a very early prototype, then the future looks good. How long did it take to have the modern airplane or the modern car? The early designs were laughed at by the people then too. I guess, we should look at this with an eye towards the future.
MPAA/RIAA defines fair usage: By purchasing this overpriced media, you are granted certain rights. You have the right to watch/listen to this media one time only, if you watch/listen to this media with other persons present, you are required to pay a surcharge that will be automatically deducted from you bank account. If you desire to watch/listen to this media again, you have the right to have the purchase price of this media charged to your bank account directly or to present your financial information to store that will provide you another overpriced media that you will have the right to watch/listen to one time. You have the right to not watch/listen to this media after purchasing. You have the right to give this media to someone else as a gift, providing you do not watch/listen to it first. These are your rights as granted by the MPAA/RIAA Congress of America.
I think a combination of Joss Wheedon directing and production done in Japan with 100% animation may be the only way it can be done. The nuances of the characters can't be played by children, just as Blues can't be sung by a child. It won't be a big smash at the box office and will go to DVD rather quickly like Serenity did. However, it may be the only way that the story can be done while preserving the integrity of the characters.
Lock yourself up in a cell without electricity or heating or cooling. You are just as responsible as anyone else and should be stopped. You are the problem!
That is exactly the reason why I don't give them my money but once or twice a year. The movies made in the last 10 years are average at best, and each year there is one or two movies that are worth seeing. As for music, if I don't already have it on CD or it isn't being played on the radio, I don't see much reason to listen to it. Most of the "entertainment" that is pushed at us has a lack of substance worthy of owning to view/listen to again.
I'll continue to support open source and copyleft materials that are out there. The quality is much better and you know that when you do make a donation that it is going to someone that is doing it for love rather than money. The passion of creation usually makes the product better, at least from what I have experienced.
Most of the older programmers I know, when downsized have gone independent. They lose benefits, but many have a wife with good benefits. Therefore they work 6-9 months out of the year, telling businesses what do do, for decent money and lower stress.
You can still make it a lot smaller, the thermal printer idea seems like a waste. Use regular TP and install a LCD to the biometric seat to display the RSS stories.
This would be best suited for screens that are pre-shaped, such as wrap around goggles for the military. This flexible technology would also be good for immersive video games where the user wears a helmet type assembly. Another good use of this would be for video teleconferencing, the screen would no longer need to be big and in front of the room, but above the speakerphone and everyone in the room could direct their attention to one location regardless of where they were sitting aroung the table. Whew, that was a long sentence.
Don't forget that mortars use "shake-and-bake" too. Artillery aren't the only ones that use high-trajectory. However "shake-and-bake" is normally used against buildings and equipment.
The US forces do not use Willy Pete to burn people, it is an ineffective use of a tool. There was another article at the Independent talking about the same thing, only they threw in a bunch of so-called facts that were so false that anyone who searches more than one source can tell is fraudulant.
There are a lot of people in the world, and in the US too, that hate the US and can't see the truth when presented. The US Army retention rate is higher than expected for the troops deployed to the sandbox. The troops over there (I know quite a few) tell a different story than the one that you read about and see in the mainstream media. The majority of the Iraqi people are grateful we are there and want us to continue the course. We are training the Iraqi people to take care of their own, but it is not something that can be accomplished overnight.
We (the US) are making a positive difference over there, and if you don't believe me, talk to the troops who are there now, or better yet, go over there. The Iraqis would be more than happy to talk to you.
One the facilities (gov't) that I have meetings at, has a raised floor covering the entire building. Yes, it is one story and you can place a few football fields in it. They have the ventilation in the overheads and the cabling run under the floor. It works nicely for them, and provides a clean appearance for the entire facility.
If you look at the EULA you will see that this has a time restriction. "...provided to you by Oracle solely for evaluation purposes until January 31, 2006."
Obviously this is just a ploy to get developers to write apps on Oracle then, when the application has gotten fat, they will have to pay the fees for a version of Oracle that can support the app or rewrite the whole thing.
I think that only good reason to obtain 10g is to learn Oracle. If I was working at a company that was moving to Oracle, or at least talking about it, I would DL this to learn it for improved job opportunities.
I can't blame the keyboard for the last post. I hit the submit before reviewing. Pay no attention to the typos, they are only for the viewing of those who know that Apple now ships a multi-button mouse.
Oh, the mighty mouse is a wonder indeed! To those you pay little to no attention to details, it is a one button mouse. http://www.apple.com/mightymouse/
Yeah, lets kick out all the idiots! Oh, didn't SCO try to get IBM to buy them? Oh, heck lets just buy all the companies that are being run by idiots and... oh, we don't have that much money? sorry.
...you can take it home without a big transport, you have to figure out what they mean by odd instructions and you have to perform the assembly yourself, but when you are done you can save a bundle if your time is not that valuable.
This Act specifies the requirements for doorways and other design specs: http://www.fta.dot.gov/14534_5608_ENG_HTML.htm

Oh, I'm gonna have to give Apple a good going over. They stole my patent!

Just my two nickles worth.
I guess that means I get no upgrades from microshaft on the browser that I don't use... bummer...

If Aqua was only available for linux... :-(

Now I won't just look stupid, I'll sound stupid too!

How is critizing muslims/Islam treated as sedition? Does Singapore have a Caliphate running the show over there?
Nice, but does it run on Linux?
