Here in N.H. there is no sales tax. I often forget that other states even have sales tax. It seems I am only reminded when I am on vacation, and the clerk wants me to pay $10.55 for the item that is clearly marked at $10.00. Then I get this dumb look from the poor person behind the register, "Uh, sales tax?"
It makes me wonder, how our state can run without sales tax, and without state income tax. I mean, it's a wonder we survive at all! Now, look at Mass, and California, loads of taxes! Boy, those people sure are better off with all those taxes and government programs! But, I digress.
Seriously, if you live in NH, and you buy goods over the Internet, no tax, case closed, Live Free or Die!
Would this also stop the cell phone from telling you there is a voice mail? I know when I am in my basement, I appear to have no signal, but I still get voice mails. I could be way off on this one, but then if you have a little chirpy message to tell you have a voice mail, you may still disturb people.
There has been may issues regarding on-line play surrounding the poker community. Many states allow poker, but no casinos, because they consider poker a game of skill (which I believe it is).
From what I have summed up, the local police are the ones that would be responsible for you busting you if you played poker on-line, but it's a wicked grey area.
In my area (New Hamsphire) there are publically advertised poker tourneys, for big money prizes ($5000 and up), with some of the money going to charity. I am not sure how legal this is, but it's been going on for a while. Here is some really good information regarding the legality of playing poker on-line in your area.
The 'no special software needed' was really the selling point for me. I basically use my Archos as a portable hard drive with an mp3 player slapped on it. Sweet stuff!
I have the Archos 20 gig FM recorder (mp3 player that has a radio and record function) and had some really bad issues with it crashing. I got no help from Archos at all, but found this site: Rock Box which has an open source OS for it and never had a problem since. I have also found numerous other people in forums with the same story.
Now, what I don't understand is how come Archos wouldn't get involved with the Rock Box guys and try to just use their OS, or buy it from them, or something. I mean, the Rock Box os fixes so many bugs, and adds all kinds of features.

I drink a lot of water everyday. Most Americans (I have no idea about the rest of the world... come on.. I'm an American) drink far less water then they should. My understanding is you are supposed to drink 8 glasses a day, and drinking soda/coffee/etc. is actually dehydrates you more.
Same here. Never had a problem with a return, and the rebates just print out on your receipt, with a special receipt to mail in. I really like Best Buy.
Some people just get all kinds of upset with usage of words. You would probably draw an odd look if you said, "While masticating with my angina, my friend was very niggardly about the bill at the restaurant." Oh well, just words.
Yah, I believe it. Something kind of neat about sign language, is there is the 'correct' sign, and more casual signs, but the whole point is to get your idea across. So, from what I remember, people that didn't know each other sign language, could sort of puzzle out what they were saying and pick it up fast. I would say much faster then if I was trying to talk with somebody from a different country.
Correct. I have take a few years of American Sign Language, and it is indeed different from sign language of other countries. It is related to French sign language though.
This company has been doing it for a while. I have done some work for them, and have been impressed with what you get out of it.

I had not seen tubgirl before.. Google found it right away. How... damaging to my eyes and soul.
Excellent reply. I was thinking the same myself when I read the above post.
Good idea, I have just left some positves notes for AZO, thanks.
Agreeded. Glad I wasn't the only one that thought that.
And I thought I was the only one that noticed this, at least my math degree has not gone to waste!

True as it may be, we got a lot of bombs.
